If you say it in Fahrenheit it doesn't seem that bad. It is 6.8 degrees Fahrenheit. Not a negative number, see. NOW GET OUT THERE AND RUN!!!

I wasn't snowing at work when I left so I made a detour. I had no gloves that were waterproof that would have been suitable for playing in the snow. Actually, I have one pair, but they were commandeered by my son, that's fine, he needs warm fingers, too.

I ran to the mall to the sporting goods store to see what they had. They had all of their winter coats on sale, and I'm a bargain shopper. I picked up a $100 Columbia ski jacket for my daughter for $40!!! SWEET!!!
 
I ended up paying $44 for my pair of gloves though. That's ok, my hands don't take the cold well and now they'll be warm when I'm out sledding.

It is snowing here now. I'm going to take a nap, I'll check in later.

FYI I stopped at KFC and tried the fiery grilled wings, I was not impressed. My homemade baked wings are better.

Maybe that's why I haven't been feeling like myself, I'm suffering from toppage withdraw.

Hi Ghoul's.  Stopping by for a quick hello. Busy day at work today and zero computer time.  I'm out of here early this afternoon.  I had a hair appt tomorrow morning but given the weather predictions I'm going to go tonight.  5 years of generous tipping my stylist gives me a bit of leverage in these situations.

I do, I do, I do.  The one I go to is terrific and I want her to love me as a client.  Wow, that sounds a bit needy, but there it is.

As for the snowshoes.....they are ready to go!!!  And since I now don't have a hair appt in the morning, I can get out on the golf course before the cross country skiers.  I love being the first person out on fresh snow.

AFTERNOON GHOULIES

hunkering down for a long wintery night.  there calling anywheres from 3 to 12 inches. 

i believe it when i see it.

though it is snowing right now...the real accumulation is supposed to start at 6 pm....

the weather men always get it wrong.


prepping for a FOUR HOUR SPINTACULAR tomorrow morning starting at 5:45 am until 10 am.

im adjusted and cold lasered so i'll be good to go and READY TO RIDE.


a short run and strength training session today.
