Has anyone used or read about KT Tape? I'm thinking about trying it for my hamstring.
This is what Runners World has to say about it...
KT Tape, $12.99
You may have seen this tape all over beach volleyball player Keri Walsh during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. More athletes—including runners from short-distance roadies to ultramarathoners—are using it during training and racing. Unlike regular athletic tape,
KT Tape is stretchy, allowing it to assist muscles to stretch while providing a flexible support. The strips are pre-cut for ease-of-use, and
instructions on how to tape various injuries—from plantar fasciitis to a hamstring strain—are found on the product's website, allowing runners to tape themselves.
OUR TEST: Used on a low back injury, we found the tape incredibly comfortable while it provided relief. It also gave off a pleasant cooling sensation, said to be due to the stretchiness slightly raising the skin.
BONUS: The tape comes in multiple colors: black, blue, pink, red, green, and beige.
I know of several people that use it...Lauren Jensen being one of them.
) It works for her! When I was going through therapy for my shoulder they used it..it was one of those good hurts!
