Cat, yeah ... swimming is exhausting, and it'll make you want to scarf food even more than the other triathlon disciplines.

Last Night.... oh well Im not swimming today, already told Pat, its awards night.... gionna be fun tired, not drinking and with bloodshot chlorine eyes!

hi Nibbs,

 Spent most of my "free" time today hunting an outfit for my kid to wear for her concert tonight.  She told me on Tuesday evening that she needd a white skirt for tonight...knowing full well that I had a 12 hr shift yesterday.  There were only 2 white skirts in the mall--one a micro mini (no kidding) and the other an eyelet that was about 6 sizes too big. I even looked in the sewing store, found a pattern but no appropriate material so I was off the hook for dragging out the sewing machine  Tried calling the teacher but she never returned my call  so we found black skirt with a red top (both of which will also fit me so it's a bagain now cause I get to wear it and it will actually be worn more than once for a concert...)  what a joy this was...

no more whining now...work to do

Cat is wearing the black dress, the earrings she wore to the last function and dark red nail polish.

Cat may attempt to apply red lipstick but she isnt very good at it!

Cat will be the only person driving to the event as it seems everyone else is going to be drinking, yes, I really turned down cabcharges in favour of driving because Im so tired I dont want to be stuck trawling for a cab in a Friday night in december....

New outfit for christmas for YOU... good thing yuo checked, even if the reply was a bit late!

Cat is NOT drinking tonight because Cat is trying to be good (although Cat suspects on christmas day she will be very tipsy before sunset)

Cat is going to need caffiene to get through the night!

Ok see you in front of the face at 7pm tonight then, black tie please and dont forget your green wristband!

Media people... they are more than capable of entertaining themselves! It would be fun to get dressed up and have an escort to take me out to one of these recent events!
