The girl at the counter was wonderful, she saw how mom moved slowly and lined up a wheelchair for her to get from the one concourse to the other in Detroit so Mom won't miss the connecting flight to Albany. |

Ive got a bit of a dilema now re: challenge - tonight I had planned a 1hour 20 ride to finish off... now if it was anyone else I would just give them 100% because it was that or them pulling out of the challenge.... But its me so I dont want to look like Im cheating... I had the flu for a week and now this Im thinking a reduction in goals or pulling out would be acceptable as I would let anyone else do it... What do Nibbs think? |

My mother was ready to leave all her medicine in the luggage and this girl and I convinced her to take it on her person just in case Detroit had bad weather and she couldn't get out. As it was, Mom ran out of her long acting insulin with yesterdays dose and her short acting insulin at lunch today so her sugar tomorrow will be sky high. |

Hopefully she will get back without incident - can she get her insulin refilled tomorrow when she gets home?
