I'm looking at Ford Explorers. I need something big enough for me to haul all my puppies, fur and non-fur.

I have decided that you all need to move closer to me.

I would really like to do a hike this fall where I hike, spend the night in the woods, hike some more, but I don't want to do it by myself and I don't have anyone to hike with.

That is easy. When you come here. We can take a night and go for a hike and camp out. There are a kabillion places around here. One of my favorites it to to to the town of Hot Springs. Hike the AT, camp, hike back then hang out in the springs the town was named for, have a nice dinner and go home. Shining Rock wilderness is fantastic too. Or Linville Gorge or Devil's courthouse, or the Pink beds or Graveyard fields or or or or or .......

YEA, you aren't as damaged as you thought. When you start back, start slowly and use that tape!

I am gonna get my 4 miles in. Tomorrow is another big day of yard work. I am going to rest up.

What'cha doin'?

Chores followed by a trainer ride, followed by a Grocery run, followed by chores (and maybe a nap) followed by weekend house guest arrival.

Tomorrow, Sunday, and Monday more of the same, alternating the trainer with running.

Life in the fast lane

Hi guys! I took a little nap (7 hours long...) last night, so I'm feeling better today.

shhh...don't tell anyone, but that nap lasted from about midnight to 7 am. hehehe

I have to be quiet the guest and her dog are still sleeping.

Holy Crapola. Did she have food poisoning or something?

I don't know. Yesterday my husband was down the road helping my BIL get his yard ready and grass seed down before the rain came. We cooked burgers and hotdogs on the grill up here, then took everything down there and everyone ate off of the back up the truck. She was running around playing with the boys for awhile, then she came over saying she didn't feel well. It was warm out, and she doesn't take the heat well, she was red in the face, so I brought her home. We weren't home long and she vomited, then she felt better. She was fine the rest of the day.

Last evening we took the kiddos down to Grandma's while we went grocery shopping. They ate there, and we picked them up shortly after they had eaten. We got home, unloaded groceries, and within half an hour she was vomiting, and that time it didn't stop. She vomited several times over the night, once only being in pain for 15 minutes, another time rolling around the bed telling me her belly hurt, and all but crying for almost an hour and a half before she vomited and felt better. Each time she'd get about 45-60 minutes of sleep before it would all start again.

She has eaten this morning and hasn't vomited yet. She had a pancake for breakfast, and she just had some watermelon about half an hour ago. Hopefully whatever it is, it's gone.

I'm exhausted, and have a headache. Even though she slept, I stayed awake and kept an eye on her. When the boys get home from church I'm taking a hot bath, then a big old nap!

I am not the best judge, but soulds like bouts of food poisoning I have had before. I truly hope she is better and you get a L-o-n-g nap in.

Today may be a nap day for me as well. I got new running shoes yesterday so a quick tread-mill run (so I won't mess them up if I have to return them) will be in there as well.
