Good luck Scott Jen and Karen.

I am hitting the pool tonight for the first time in almost 8 months.  I have no plan either.  Just show up, and try not to look like a fool.  There will be plenty of breaks that's for sure!

Have fun Jeff.  Don't over do it.

Thanks, def won't be over doing it.  Full rotation with the shoulder is no longer painful, but still gets sore easy.

Bike 60' @ Z1/2.  Very much looking forward to running at lunch today.

Stopped by the team bike shop after workout last night for a computer mounting bracket.  While I was there, the new team of junior triathletes came in for their bike fittings.  The shop was filled with a dozen of 10-12 year old future triathletes.  Very cool.

Why can't we just move on to spring weather already??  So I have to run Sunday's race in 30 degrees and wind?  I'm going to have to buy a new pair of running tights, as the ones I own are falling down and won't stay up on my waist.  I wanted to put my $ toward summer running wear....not winter! Oh, well, off to shop tomorrow.

Took of the decals from the down tube (said FETISH)...I think the seat tube sticker needs to go, as well.

Anyway, I obviously bought the bike I was talking about Need to trim the seat mast, the seat all the way down is about .75" or so higher than my roadie right now. Ignore those pedals, too, I just tossed them on to spin around my block. I need to get a shorter stem as well, but will wait for a fit first.

The frame dimensions are just about perfectly identical to my road bike, so I should fit just fine once I'm dialed in.

Steve I'd remove all the decals if possible.  I wish my Orbea had matte black decals, but I like a ninja bike.

Nice looking bike.  I agree you should wait to get a fit before making any "permanent" changes to the bike.

I want a bright pikachu (or peeta-chu) yellow bike.  Shaun's not going for it.

One project yellow peeta-chu for you.  Sorry couldn't find a hedge hog.

Looks like your Hedge Hog likes my SC.

Good luck Racers.  I'm a bit envious of your warm weather and early race dates.

Work has been crazy the last couple of weeks.  I wish it would settle down, but I think it's only going to get worse.  Sometimes I feel like I work at the funny farm.

Yesterday was a rest day for me.  Today is a very easy bike to spin the legs out, and then a super short easy run.  Then I'm off to work. Frown

We're leaving super early tomorrow, the race I am doing is pretty far away.  The lake temps are estimated to be 70 - 74.  Is that cold?  I have no sense of water temperatures.

I'm hoping to also get my bike into the shop today to have a cable adjusted.  The one going to the crank is loose.

To everyone racing this weekend - have a great race, give it everything you got!

Go get em Karen and Scott!! (and whoever else is racing)

I actually didn't make it to the pool last night.  Forgot we had a kids school event. So my first swim in 8 months will wait until monday.

Enjoy your weekend!

The one thing I hate about having to go to a hotel the night before is running the needed items list over and over again to make sure I didn't forget anything.
