Ok......So let's meet at Joes Farm Grill, Just west of Higley on Ray Road.  See www.joesfarmgrill.com for location info AND to look at their smackatcular breakfast menu.  Let's try to park our cars in the far EAST parking lot, on the far east edge away from the building.

Question, though......Breakfast is from 7-11. I really want breakfast.  If we start at 7, to try to get 2 loops in and be done by like 10:45 so we can still get breakfast is going to be tight.   Anyone up for loop one starting at 6:30 and loop two starting at 8:15?  Or what would work?

Chime in.  Thank you.

I am going to pull my lazy card for ONE MORE week and go ahead and opt out - if something CARAZY happens and I wake up before 9 AM on a weekend I will be there but I don't want to keep everyone from their early riding plans and yummy breakfast just to do a slow spin. I'll do that later BUT most likely stop in for breakfast. All I can think about this weekend is SLEEEEEEP.

Yes, what's one MORE early morning this weekend? I was already up at 3:45AM twice this week. 5:45 should be easy. (Yes it will take me an hour and fifteen at least to get up and over there. That's how fast I move in the morning)

I'll be cheerier once you get me on a bike. Honest

Ok....since Harry thinks the ride is at 7, let's be ready to ride at 7 at Joes Farm grill.  Anyone wanting to hook up for a shorter loop toward the end, be at joes at 8:45.

Hey, I have your bike and it is ready when you are!  Wish I saw the post in time to remind you of your bike location!

SUNDAY JUNE 15th

For those of us schleps who can't make it up to Flag for a ride this Sunday......  I was thinking since my Tri is now a DU, I should try to Du that.  Also, the bike is going to be a little more hilly than before, so I need to get some shifting under my belt.  This is what I would like to propose. AGAIN...I am open to anything....but I am going to just throw this out there.

Meet at Crackers and Co at 7:00.  I will run a 10k prior to this.  I will do one loop.  Others can do a second loop, or just show up for loop 2 at 8:45.  While loop 2 is taking place, I will run a 5k.  We all meet back up for grub at Crackers and Co.

What say ye?

For those who have not done this ride before....we meet on the NE corner of Greenfield and Brown.  There is a Crackers and Co restaraunt there, and we park on the south edge of their parking lot (out of the way).

Here's the route: http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/map.asp?routeid=51491

There is also a thread about a Mountain Man ride this weekend up in Flagstaff.

Sorry - I have fallen prey to the fictional afterthought holiday of "Fathers Day".  Therefore instead of Bike it must be breakfast in bed and no household chores.

However, if hills is what you want, there is some nice riding on the carefree hiway and lake pleasant area as well.  Not as fancy as Gilbert, but just as sunny!

We're going to have to bow out of tomorrow today's ride.

We did the Father's Day stuff today down in Tucson, and resultingly I'm here at 1AM, just barely at a place where I can think about getting to bed. I had way too many hours lost sleep this last week, so I can't afford to start out another week on the wrong side of bed.

Sorry!

So - thinking about a Sunday right. What's everyone up for distance and terrain wise? Hills? Flats? 15, 25, 35?

BIKE RIDE SUNDAY June 29!!!!!

I'll name a time and route based on who is going.

SO - give me options. I would prefer no earlier than 6AM and no shorter than 20 miles.
