Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Poison Apples Team Thread spokes - 2007-10-30 6:40 AM Dee, I'd do the November challenge but I'm tapering for my marathon and I have enough pressure as it is I think I'm swearing off challenges until January. That said, with two days of running left, here's some legs for the guys: Now, we are NOT going to lose the challenge. However, on the off chance that we do, I'm going to crop some of the legs above and claim them as my own. LOL That ought to create a commotion in TAN, huh? |

Couldn't have done it without the team-- seriously-- ZERO activity to 35 miles this month-- you all rock! Dad's back at home after the latest stent-- he's a veteran cardiac patient-- double bypass/valve replacement in '96, stents last year, stent this year. Lucky man. For a guy that hates exercise and loves to eat, he made a bunch of changes 10 years ago that gave him this whole last decade-- and it looks like he might get some more. Thanks for your inspires in my logs-- I'm gonna to make that my Nov challenge (along with Dee's real one of course!) Go apples! Congratulations on hitting your run goal! Glad to hear that your Dad is home, and doing better. Dee |

See, I'm planning on being a BOPer so I figured I'd start here and bring up the rear. No legs for us! Started back with the running bits too (whopping 2 minutes...1 minute with a break and then another minute)...good news is no calf pain so guess my muscle is all healed. Yeah. So now I get a day off before having to worry about starting up the November challenge...guess I better get my rear in gear about joining a gym or I'm gonna have some problems with my swim commitment. Way to go Apples! We newbies rock! Congratulations! Great job! |

Veteran 151 West Allis | Subject: RE: Poison Apples Team Thread THAT IS AWESOME!!!!! I'm SO proud of everyone, and being the first one to 100% is AWESOME. I think that means we win, overall, at least by my rules. Since the most ANY team can get is 100%, I believe it should be the first group to 100% should be the winner AWESOME job everyone!!! |

Expert 1580 Ankeny, Iowa | Subject: RE: Poison Apples Team Thread Congrats to the new 100% club members - we are at 100%. I have attached our final spreadsheet. I didn't get any mileage in tonight. We had to sign some papers tonight and it ran later than normal and I am fighting carpal tunnel pain in one arm. I have had it in both wrists (or that is what the military docs are thinking) for almost 2 years off and on. It comes when it seems I use my hand too much - for instance last week carrying/pulling luggage and then writing for school (since it started again). Well I have braces for both wrists that I should have put on - but needless to say I am hard headed and now have pain that shoots up through my elbow and fore arm. So with the drugs for that and a late night I called it a day. Dee - I am not going to participate in the Nov Challenge and that is just because I am focusing on other things (aka getting over stepping on the scale multiple times a day) for the next month or so and that is a big enough challenge for me. Dec I won't be around since I can't do a swim challenge since I don't know how to swim but might be back after that. This was fun. Off to relax a bit. Stacie P.S - I have attached the spreadsheet through tonight so it shows a big 100% in the last column. I will update again for tomorrow's mileage etc. and post the FINAL spreadsheet Thursday at noon-ish.

I finally met the bike goal... 213 miles as of now for the month, goal was 200. And tomorrow I take the rugrats out trickortreating... this can't be good for the diet, and wife making cookies tonight. Oh well weight loss challenge doesnt start until er um Thursday. |

Stacie, take care of yourself! The challenges will always be here. And I know you're busy with school, too. I'd reply more, but I swear my eyes are crossing now. I've been online for 6 hours straight, trying to set up the team rosters, etc. (Well, and chatting on BT with lots of people. LOL) But.... The November Challenge Team Rosters are posted !!!! You can view them here: http://bt-challenge.tripod.com/Teams.htm Great job on the October Challenge everyone! Dee |

Kelley, last time I was there, you could pay as you go to swim at the Greenbelt Aquatic & Fitness Center. And if you're a Greenbelt resident, it's even cheaper than for the rest of the world. I didn't know if you knew that. Laurie |
