Sounds scary.  Did everything survive okay? 

I heard yesterday on the radio that there was a huge area in the east & south under tornado watch including Pennsylvania and North Carolina and Tennessee.  That is a huge range.  Hope all the Ghoulies are staying safe!

Back to rain again here (they say for another week).  But we did have a really nice day yesterday.

We were already 2 inches more than the avg for this time of year.  Whoo hoo NOT.

Another week of rain? It's cold here, but if you want to see the sunshine you're welcome to come stay with us.

Thanks!  I may take you up on that.  Sunshine and cold is MUCH preferred over all this rain!

If you're here by 5:15 you can run/walk with me tonight. If you don't get here until tomorrow I'll recruit you to help at soccer practice, but then we can walk the pups on Saturday and Sunday.

Hi Stac, Hi Dee.

I had to run and meet with a landscape designer. We had to suck it down and call in help. We need to get this place to where it looks better without nearly as much work. It is overwhelming to keep up and overwhelming to figure out what to do about it.

I am  excited.

So far Dee things are okay. Just tons of branches that need picking up. But that is pretty normal around here.

From the pictures I've seen your place is already beautiful. We want pictures after you have the help of a professional!!!

Thanks. It is pretty. However, it will be a couple of years before what he comes up with will actually be planted. It is going to be multi years. Little steps!

When I bring the kiddos in August you can put them to work. It might not be the best time of year for planting, but I'm sure you can find some manual labor for them to earn their keep.

I have never refused manual labor. We pay richly in food and fun... if not bucks!

Ann - way to go on the workout yesterday.

Robyn - glad the worst the storm left you were  branches all around.  The landscap planning is fun. 

Stacie - wow, they got you off the ground running.  Watch out for flying bricks

Melissa - the sun will show up some day.  You'd see it a bit sooner if you moved to Iowa, but even soon if you come farther south. 

Dee - we too are scheduled for rain starting Saturday and running through the beginning of next week. 

I survived the interval training yesterday.  Even managed to do a light jog back to the store when we were through.  But boy was I tired.  So tired that I could not sleep last night.  I kept trying Stacies breathing meditation, but my mind would not stay shut off.  I finally gave up around 3:30am and played games and read for the rest of the night. 

Breath in, breath out.  Breathe in, breathe out.  Spelled either way it did not work for me. 

Go find a comfortable place in the library and take a nap. If anyone questions you just tell them you are testing how quiet different sections of the library are.

Hi Kendra, glad the running was great. That is just not right about not being able to sleep, though. That is the worst!
