Don't want to work. Me either. I don't have too much to do today, though. How about you? Gotta big lotta nothing...I'm mostly killing time until a picnic at noon, teach at 1 (last class of the semester, so it's all review - no preparation required)... I'm supposed to be working on my new article, but it's sooooo far down the end of the tunnel, that I don't feel motivated today. Can I go on the picnic with you? Sounds fun. Do you get to pick your article topics or does someone else suggest your topics? |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XV) - come join us :) Artemis - 2008-04-25 8:49 AM Morning Nibbs! Had the scan this morning, but I couldn't watch the important part of it. I was laying on my side away from the screen at that point. Hopefully I'll hear something by the end of the day, otherwise I'll have to wait until Monday. Really hope that you hear something today. I know I sure hate waiting to hear. Good thoughts going out to you. |

TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XV) - come join us :) Hi Nibbs lotsa lack of motivation it sounds like - lol I have a day full of meetings - bleh I don't have my plans firmly made for the weekend, but I will take the wise advice of many Nibbs and do some self indulgence. A gal on my team had a great idea since I didn't make the Realtor thing happen. She suggested that I visit open houses - I thought that was quite brilliant! |

(hee hee hee, I'm still laughing) I went to the picnic...pulled pork with BBQ sauce, coleslaw & a roll, followed by a piece of chocolate cake. Sucks for my diet, but I did skip the fried chicken, the potato salad, and the baked beans. |

I walked in on a couple having sex in the bathroom, saw a live snake in the middle of the trail, didn't fall or hurt myself and lost 3 pounds in sweat from this morning. Now it's time for some lunch, a shower and that ever so exciting task of laundry. |

LOL - neither of them work very well - do they? wow Pam - just read about your ride - wild and crazy! so what did the couple do? I didn't hang around to find out. I had parked my car on the far side of the park, thinking I'd just use the restroom then drive back to the trailhead parking. I walked in and saw the guy's back to me with girl on the sink. Just said "sorry!" and high tailed it outta there. Used the restroom at the trailhead area without incident To Sesh: the snake really freaked me out because it was in the middle of a segment of trail that I had just run. The trail gets rocky and steep so I turn around before that part and back track. I hate to think that I was so out of it that I might have stepped on it the first time! Well, I'm off to werk for the night. Bleh. Don't think I'll get applause like Kristen from my class. Have a great Friday night! |

Champion 6107 Out running or enjoying a fine glass of red... | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XV) - come join us :) OK, Nibbs... My afternoon did NOT go as planned - after I told you about my cockles, my assistant found me because day care called her when they couldn't reach me. (I was teaching after all...) Anyway, Younger Monkey shoved a bead up her nose at daycare and they couldn't get her to blow it out. Blood flowed, no bead in sight. So I spent the end of the day in the ER first, and then at the ENT specialist so he could "tickle" the bead out of her nose...it was so far in, he had to go get an extra long tickler to pull it out. Ewww. No swim. No fun. But I did end up going to dinner with the Monkeys and Sugar Daddy - and ate too much and drank too much. Mmm. One margarita. One apple-tini. Buffalo chicken sandwich (with bacon & blue cheese) and french fries. MMMM. |
