I thought it was great! It was so nice not dealing with the chemical smell. And I assume that it still passes health standards for a public pool. Anyway I really liked it. The new pool they built at my Y uses saline instead of chlorine. It is MUCH nicer. I don't like salt. The walls are slimy and slippery and for swim meets it is super itchy as you dry. Lol. Oh and the water turns a greeny tinge and tastes yucky. Hah. Hmmm. Well the hotel pool didn't have any of those problems that I noticed. Of course I wasn't doing kick turns against the wall.  I did enjoy the break from chlorine! |

My hubby won't know until just before we go to Carlsbad. As of now he's coming, but his travel plans are in a state of constant change, so it could go either way. Who's renting a car? Should we each rent one? Or go in on a couple larger cars? If my hubby and Robin's hubby don't go, who's going to sherpa us around? |
