Master 1332 Vista, CA | Subject: RE: MAD MANATEE Mentor Group (TriAya & lmscozz)--CLOSED! TriAya - 2011-03-15 2:35 PM So I reposted John's (mackjenn's) transition mat picture in a transition question thread ... (with acknowledgment, of course! to rave reviews!) and someone came back with this ... so does it say SHOES in the left corner or $ HOES ? because that could be two totally different things can't. stop. laughing. So I've heard of how many angels can dance on the top of a pin, but how many $hoes can balance on a yoga mat? |

Veteran 287 Pueblo, CO | Subject: RE: MAD MANATEE Mentor Group (TriAya & lmscozz)--CLOSED! crystalashworth - 2011-03-15 3:43 PM I usually have my $ hoes hold the chip for me, which is why I keep a special spot on my mat for them. Also consider this - the mat can be unfolded for after the tri. You all have dirty minds.Okay so another question - Do I need my own Time chip holder thingie?? Or is that provided? |

LOL Well - your not smiling (problem for mental attitude) and hips are sinking (slows you down). Smile - don't smirk - and try to get hips up closer to the surface of the water. Stronger kicks and "push the buoy". Not going to expalin the "push" one until after the Tri to keep you from trying something new just before race day. I am jealous - I've got until June 5 before my first tri this season. |

HAHAHA! That used to be our Manatee logo, for many seasons now! I changed it this time because, well, ummm ... I thought the cartoon one was cuter, and not so sad, and a bit more ... sleek. |

Veteran 287 Pueblo, CO | Subject: RE: MAD MANATEE Mentor Group (TriAya & lmscozz)--CLOSED! OK all you manatees and newbees. Practice makes improvement (not perfect yet). 10 months ago I signed up for my first full tri and started training. First full "just swim" for my race distance (1200 yards) was 42 minutes. I just finished my first full "just swim" race distance for my Escape from Alcatraz (2600 yards / 1.5 miles) in 46 minutes and 3 seconds - almost a 100% improvement!!! Still not the fastest in the water and quite exhausted getting out, but improving!!! |
