Happy Friday! Good mornign and Happy Friday to you too, Melissa! Any fun plans? Not too much this weekend, which is actually a good thing. We have lots to get done around the house and never seem to find weekends to get it done. My daughter has an Artworks Night at her school tonight that I'll probably take the girls to. My daughter may have a friend over on Sunday too. They have been begging me every day when I pick her up to let her friend come over because they want to make a movie. And they want me to film them and put it on DVD's. They are 6 (or almost 6) and apparently have a script... I have NO idea what this is about or how it even came up, so if this happens it shoudl be pretty interesting!! How about you? That's fun stuff. We had our neighborhood friends over a couple weeks ago to watch the Eagles game. While we were glued to the TV, the kids (all 6-10 years old) took our camcorder, went to the basement and made a complete newscast including sports, weather, commercials, etc. After the game was over, they showed us the video and it was the funniest thing we've ever seen. We were ROLLING! The kids actually got mad at us because they said it wasn't supposed to be funny. But it was hysterical. I should throw it up on YouTube. |

I've started reading classics so that I don't sound so dumb when I talk to normal people. I bought Lolita, Animal Farm, Lord of the Flies, and Fareinheight 451. I like the fiction books that speak to real issues. Read: I'm a bore? LOL In defense of the bore, I also enjoy fun things such as triathlon, kayaking, rafting, roller coasters, partying, and Halloween. ME TOO!!!! I LOVE ROLLER COASTERS <=== adrenaline junkie. No candy corn here though. I wonder if I could make some? Mmmmm I LOVE ROLLER COASTTERS TOO! My husband used to fly on the helicopter for the hospital we worked at. He'd go vertical up the side of a building and do all kinds of flips without thinking about it. Will.not.get.on.a.rollercoaster.Not even to save a life. Miss Thing is MY child, she loves the rollercoasters too.....Thing 1 is HIS child, hates rides except the water ones. |

I don't know what the heck happened to my while pregnant, but I haven't been able to go on just about ANY ride since then without getting sick. My hubby is VERY disappointed that the kids ruined my amusement park fun factor! But on the plus side, DD #1 seems to love roller coasters too. We took her one one at the pier at the beach in ME this summer - she was finally just tall enough to be allowed on - and she LOVED it! DD #2 was still happy to go round and round and round on the merry go round instead of the kiddie roller coaster at the fair, but she's young still. |

Good news is the HIM might still be on, everything appears to be a strain which will need monitoring to see how it goes after another week of no exercise. The bad news is I'm going to have to drop out of the challenge, won't be fair on you guys to have the percentages pulled down by someone that is going to only be able to get 50% tops with all this time off. Keep up the good work and keep crushing those Ghoulies. We're at the half way point now and you're all in a good position to crush them lifeless. cheers Joe That's some sad news. Take it easy and get well soon. I hope the HIM works out for you. Let us know how things are going for you. |

My friend bought some back last time she went home and now I am hooked, I get them from anyone who can bring them for me and I have also tried making my own which were decent but not as good as my friends Mum of course! Anyway, I have to make weight tonight (8hrs and 45 mins and counting) which should be fine but I like to be sure so I'm not really eating today and she just bought me some of her Mums cakes in - she is staying with her right now and made some for me - and I can't eat them until after weigh in - AAAAARRRGGGGHHH! Aww don't starve yourself. Is it a weekly weigh in? Personal only or a group thing? Ooops, sorry, I am being cryptic and imagining people can read my mind! I have a fight tomorrow night (muay thai) so I have to make weight for the fight.... I can stuff myself stupid as soon as I have though Good luck with the fight. I hope you win. |

Any fun plans for the weekend? I haven't set any plans yet, but Friday is going well! I am about 10 min from being done my Halloween costume. I finished the costume and am altering my purchased pirate hat. I can't leave anything sub par... The hat was too croked and the ribbons and feathers were on it wrong. |

BT folks have literally saved my life by tracking me down. I mention it, and I am sure you're like this anyway because you're such lovely people, but with those around you--no matter how sparsely you know them--never be afraid to reach out. So sorry you are also suffering from mental health issues. My son also suffers from mental health issues so I know it can be tough. There are good times and bad but know that we care for you and will do whatever we can to help you out. Its hard to do from half way around the world though. Hang in there and remember we love you. |

I saw that in your 20,000 post posting (the people on BT being there). That was a really well thought out post by the way. ooooh thank you! I was amazed you know by how many people I didn't even know on BT (then) reached out to me. Amazing place this is. And of course i had to shout out to the Ghoulie Crushers--this is a fantastic challenge team and I've been on several of teh best. Everyone on BT except 1 has been very nice and helpful. I won't name the 1, but he contradicted something I said as advice to another BTer and said that he likes to find crap info and disprove it. I sent him a PM politely asking if he had any recommendations for websites that he's found reliable because they are hard to find and I wanted to add some to my favorites list. No reply. Either he thought I was being sarcastic, he read and meant to get back to me, or he's a dick. I think I know the 1 you are talking about and I think he fits into the last category. It doesn't matter what info you come up with to back you up, he always has a problem with it and he is right and you are wrong. Its frustrating isn't it. Once I see this guy posting on a thread I quit reading. |

I only offer an option, not THE option. There are so many ways to get things done and each option has pros and cons, while some options will be better for a specific person. |

Tonight is date night and we're going to the gym, then watching a movie at home. Tomorrow is supposed to be the day that I catch up on sleep that I missed through the week but we need to be up and out the door by about 6:30. Run errands, train, etc. in the morning, fix car, sprinklers, and fix noisy crank on my bike. Plus we're watching some neices and a nephew for my sil Sat/Sun. I'm speaking in church Sunday (I'm petrified) and then finally get to relax Sunday evening. |
