Okay, maybe I'm slow on the stars thing, but I'm just starting to figure this out.

gold stars = 5000 posts
grey stars = 2000 posts
Red stars = 1000 posts
blue stars = 500 posts
pink stars = 100 posts
Green stars = 25 posts

Then you get a status as well as pretty little stars, going from "new user" to "champion"

new user, member, regular, veteran, extreme veteran, expert, master, elite, pro then champion.

I'm glad I finally caught the bus.

There is a level beyond champion.. but is it nearly unattainable..

I'm going to have to call B.S. on all of those except Resident Curmudgeon. Some people don't have that status listed and have somehow given themselves a name, like "molto veloce mama"

Dang it! I reverse engineered the whole star count thing because I did not know where to find it. Same thing w/ the ranking. But it is all listed in user listing. 3558 here.
