Morning Nibbs

Judi - you ready to run?

Pam - have you heard anything back from your email yet?

My boss sent me an e-mail with a glimpse of what he has been doing to get this thing resolved. He has been standing up for me even though HR has been giving him a tough time. When I left work yesterday, he was on the phone about my situation. Now I feel bad for putting him through all this for 4 stupid hours of work. The whole thing is just ridiculous.

Morning, Judi. Are your lungs ready to run?

it was wonderful, 4 miles. One of the old geezers was out running and he decided to stay with me so I had someone making me keep a moderate pace instead of my trying not to push too hard.  No wheezing, just some coughing to clear gunk out of the airways...

Yay! You are coming back incredibly fast. I would never guess that you'd be running four miles this soon after having pneumonia. You rock! (Just don't overdo)

spokes - 2008-03-05 8:53 PM I just got wacked by the pollen outside riding by the river... coughing fit that wouldn't quit for 2 miles. Damn. I didn't think Spring would wack me like this here.

is it spring?  really?

What's spring?

I've got what feels like allergies.  The body (and Mucinex) did a great job at getting all the 'gunk' out of the system, but my nose is still constantly running and I'm still coughing 'stuff' out, but it's all clear......it couldn't be allergies, could it?  It's 0 degrees out this morning...nothing could possibly be blooming outside...

I think every thing is still good and dead up there.

Now that I've had a good chiro appointment and have adequately padded my post count, I'm off for 50 miles on the bike. It's supposed to be 70 degrees here today (sorry, Sal) and this is the only day this week when I have time for a long ride, so I best be off in order to get back before school lets out. TTFN.

Morning Nibbs!

Took my small cat to the vet this morning. He does not like car trips or the vet. He hid under a blanket the whole time. Poor thing.

Not sure if I'll be around much today. I have to do an emergency experiment to help out another lab and it's got to be done today. It'll be a long day, but not too bad. At least it makes me look good to the other lab and my boss.

Thanks.  I felt like I could have gone longer but decided not to push too hard too soon.  No gym today, just some housework.

Have a great ride!

I'm frustrated.  I have to do an experiment for another lab as a favor.  They brought stuff over an hour ago and said they would call in about a half an hour to let me know if the preliminary results look good.  I'm still waiting.  And I'm hungry.

... lots of indoor allergens are lurking up here in the tundra... especially dust mite waste... sets off my allergies big-time... just had to go with Flonase for relief.

So my flatmate asked me if I could leave for work a bit late this morning to let the electrician in.... we avent had an oven since Monday so no problem...

He told me the guy would be here at 7:30 and I should be on the road to wrok well before 9.... no problem

Last night I confirmed the details and (this must be a man thing) he said 'oh he is coming about 7:45 and the job will take an hour or so...' Umm...ok, so my boss is away and I have 5 proposals due today but that might work...

8am... still no sign of the electrician..... hmmm....

He did! He was young and cute too

Only took him half an hour and I avoided rush hour so made it to work in 20 minutes (amazing and totally unheard of!)

Now Im drinking coffee and stirring up trouble... good position to be in dont you think?
