Rode my bike for an hour naked (no HRM, no looking a speed)...just rode... Rode part of the way through cornfields...that's what biking's all about...it was just plain fun! Played Scrabble with the family last night... sounds like a perfect night! you need to try Apples to Apples - it's a fun game! We actually have that game...the kids wanted to play Monopoly, and Cindy HATES Monopoly, so she suggested Scrabble... |

Yeah, by bum foot. It hurt yesterday, but htis morning is doing pretty good, so I'm hoping that It wont' affect the doc releasing me to start run/walking. Oh! Be careful! I always worry that I'm going to do something to hurt myself and then not be able to run/bike. That is why I decided against going snowboarding this winter. I hurt my arm the last time I went. At that time I wasn't swimming, but I sure as heck would've been out for a long time because of that fall. The diagnosis was "tennis elbow"... from snowboarding! Injuries are soo frustrating! Although Tennis elbow from snowboarding sounds really funny to me... Kendra- sounds to me like yuo need a bike trainer so you can ride your bike without much risk of aggravating yuor injury through mishaps for awhile... not sure if it would help!
Ummm, I don't think they make a bike trainer for the motorcycle. That's what I dropped, not a bicycle  . LOL I've got one of our bicycles on one in the basement right now. |

I was going to put something in the TriTalk and COJ forums for tomorrow USA time now Im not sure how crazy I want it to goet... Putting something up generally reduces the amount of people that sign up late which is a major positive... and makes setting teams easier... but once challenge numbers get to this point it starts to be a bit of a juggle keeping track of everyone... Then again there is google spreadsheet this year and thats a positive.... Did we ever find out if anyone knew Ron well enough to ask about a podium pick 'em contest? I hope we go get one because otherwise you get the frustrations of people posting results before everyone has seen the coverage... so, remind me what the podium pick 'em contest is? I don't know Ron well, but I'd be happy to ask - after all, there's no harm in asking right?
I think we were going to see if he'd put up a BT jersey or membership for the winner of a podium and jersey picking contest. Sort of like an NCAA basketball pool. OK. But who is going to coordinate all the entries, and eventually determine who the winner is? |

I can understand that - levi is very loveable! But you have a great team in Garmin-Chipotle... including to lovely guys from down under! True, but Levi was a guy known outside of just the cycling world. So without him, it's getting no coverage on the general sports programs. Yeah thats because he was riding during the lance era too Im guessing... the new guys probably havent had the same tv coverage... Really is a pity Dave Z wont be riding... he would give the teram the profile they need to get coverage Im guessing... I'm sad Dave Z isn't riding. I like him. Not so sure about the mustache though. Why isn't Dave Z riding? |
