LazyMarathoner - 2008-09-06 8:26 PM I met a bunch of BTers today, that's always fun. Spent about 2 hours chatting with 1stTimeTri from Wisconsin. Everyone was super nice as usual!

Hey Kristin, if you meet Rodger (rabkaman), Bryan (mndiver) or Jim (birkierunner), tell them Sal (sparco) wishes them the best of luck!

September Four-Is-More Challenge Team Standings - Week #1

September is now 20% completed. Are you on target to meet your goals?

Here are the current team standings:

FIRST PLACE - Team Horny Melons - 16.4%
SECOND PLACE - Whips, Cattle Prods and Tiaras (WCPT) - 15.9%
THIRD PLACE - Team Post Padding - 15.5%

Congratulations to TEAM HORNY MELONS!

BUT September isn't over yet! We still have more than 3 weeks to go! So remember - if you don't MOVE IT this month, your team is likely to LOSE IT!

Need a reminder of what happens at the end of the month?

The winning team(s) will display a signature line: "My team won the September Four-Is-More Challenge!"

All other (losing) teams will display an avatar of something that SHOULD have made them move more! This could be your shoes (ie: you should have run more), or your bike (ie: you should have biked more), or your bathing suit (ie: you should have swam more), or.... etc.

Avatars and signature lines will be displayed for the month of October. After that, it's your choice whether to leave it, or remove it.

- Dee

I did a bike and run today... run wasn't planned but seemed the prudent way to get home after I got a flat.

Artemis - 2008-09-06 9:27 PM Something is wrong with the link to this thread in the table I posted the other day. That doesn't seem to fix it when it's in your log. I don't know what's wrong. I might need Dee's help on this one.

What's wrong with it? It looks ok - except that you have it defaulted to always start on the first post in the thread each time... which could get kind of annoying, considering you're already on page 36....

The HTML looked fine to me, too.  But, when it goes in the logs it gives an error and says the page cannot be found.  It's weird.  The link is:

Ahhh!  For some reason, it's truncating the link in the table and then uses "training" instead of "forums" in the link it's trying to open.  Any idea how to fix it?  My next guess is going to be to ask Marma.

I'm tired!  The race went pretty well.  It was hot.  I finished and I wasn't even last.    I think I did well on the bike, but they haven't posted the times yet.  The time on the computer includes running in and out of transition and even that was faster than my goal.

  • See the "../" portion? That's where the problem is. You're using a shortcut, rather than the entire URL. That will only work if you're already in the correct forum. If you're not, it won't be able to find the correct one.

    Use this link instead:
You'll need to hit the quote button to get the whole link, I think. It doesn't show up otherwise, even with html disabled on the post.

spore? do I want to know?

It's a video game.  You start with a one-celled creature and you evolve that to a civilization.
