Ok, I struggled with a 5 string bass.  This is absolutely ridiculous:

My fav is still the upright.   

For me it would depend on the type of music you're listening to to determine which bass is my fav. 

Exactly, I appreciate most musical instruments, if they are played well, withini the right context.

When played by someone who knows what they're doing, the upright can sound awesome in many genres

Meh.  I've been called worse...today.

For funk, punk, and metal I'd say you pretty much need electric.

I disagree about funk-I had a friend who played both upright and electric.  She would incorporate the upright into a few of the bands numbers.  I don't recall which genre they placed themselves in, but there was some funk influence in their music.

We counted you in, but that was like 3 pages ago...you've not said anything since then.  What's up?

Like TAN has ever been limited to one topic.  Do they not have Kraft in Australia?  Do we need to send a care package from TAN?

I prefer Adams no stir.  They don't add all the extra sugar and such. 

Let's here it for the Browns and how they're taking it to the Giants.  This is great.

Glad to hear you're doing well and enjoying life out there.  It hasn't been the same around here.  No one to remind me to get the buns for the TAN BBQ.  No frog jokes... Just not the same.

Alrighty all ya TANners out there...I am signing out for the night and heading to bed.  I am way behind on sleep and will be up early to take care of some schoolwork. 

I can't remember the last time I went to bed at 8:30.
