I got a swim done too.  Now where are the men to take me out for Italian food?

I have decided that one contributing factor to my lack of motivation is that I have neglected BT socialization over the last few days.  When my brother in law came up he borrowed my computer do keep up with his work and then I just didn't really get back to it.

I made a bunch of posts a few hours back and, lo and behold, I found enough motivation to finally make it to the pool!

Good morning Twisters!

It is crazy windy here this morning.  Should make for a not so fun run today.  Oh well, I guess it could be cold and rainy too so I can't complain too much.

... or you could have to ride.  I would rather run than bike anyday when the wind is blowing hard.

(I was a live in nanny for 3 years and occasionally the little ones and I would take a group bath in swim suits.  All my swim suits have seen a lot of time in the pool and I double them up for decency sake.  The little girl, 2 year old Lydia, would absolutely insist on wearing two swimsuits as well.  It was really funny.

Little ones so want to be just like the ones they love.

tri808 - 2010-03-12 1:42 PM just finished giving blood.  I could tell that I didn't drink as much water as I should have yesterday.  Felt a little woozy when I got off the cot.

Anyway...I'll be rehydrating throughout the rest of the day.

Hopefully by tomorrow morning (19 hours from now for me) I'll be good to go for my group ride.  I won't push the pace, but I just hope I don't pass out on the climbs.

Be really careful...I had a friend do a ride the day after giving blood and he got dizzy and bit it hard.

Yeah...I'll try to hang back instead of being a front runner today.  Problem is I have to get back a little early...so I just may skip a couple of the valleys that the group detours to on the way back.

I actually forgot to set my alarm last night...and still woke up at 5 am...which is when I would have set my alarm...so I take that as a sign it's okay for me to ride.  I couldn't do this ride last week due to rain, and the week before due to the tsunami warning...so I'm really itching to get out.

Busy day on tap for me today.  This morning I am going to help sign people up for the big race tomorrow.  Gotta remember to sign myself up so I can get shirt.  Then I'll ride my bike on the trainer for an hour.  Nothing intense since I'm running the 10 mile race tomorrow.  Have a great day!

I got a decent ride in this morning.  Nothing strenuous, the main goal was to just ride for two to three hours.  Nice sunny morning here, but windy.  Now, some yardwork, then two baseball games to get the kids to.

Just got back home.  Had a pretty good ride this morning and was hammering pretty good on the flats.

Time for a nap...

No goals for this one.  I'm just going to have fun.  (If I'm feeling good and energetic, I might try for 90 minutes. )

It was fun.  I came home with quite a bit of SWAG.  I didn't have a camera, but my friend took a couple pics of me riding a Renovo on his iphone.  I did have my purse, but I have zero money and my friend keeps my credit card for me.  I am determined to remain debt free!

I tweaked the set up on my mtn bike to mimic the road bike more.  Then did another short ride on the mtn bike to test it out!  Actually felt more comfortable!

Creeping up on my goals!  GO TWISTERS!!!   Cool

They had bicycle acrobats/artists from Germany at the expo.  The gal was multiple time world championship winner and the had a very good guys pair too.  I will see if I can find some Utube videos of them for you.  They were phenominally strong...especially the gal.  She can do a plank position on the handle bars with just her arms...legs straight out behind her...all while circling the bike!

Glad you had fun!   Very SMART on the remaining debt free!!!
Wish this would have been a weekend we were up in the Seattle area.  The expo would have been fun.

wgraves7582 - 2010-03-13 1:57 PM TWISTER's was quite the appropriate name today - brutal headwind and played in the hills on the bike which is always fun!
It was a gorgeous day in Seattle, but very windy here too.  Major whitecaps on Elliot Bay.
