Tom Z. (an RD for multiple WTC 70.3 races) has said on Slowtwitch that he will be the relief announcer at IM Louisville.  I'll ask him over there who the primary announcer will be and report back if I hear anything.

Tom Z. replied that Dave Ragsdale will be the announcer this year at IM Louisville.  He has been the announcer at IM Florida for the last 2 years (not sure if that means the primary or secondary announcer) and has done many IM 70.3 races.

In other news, Tom Z. said that after he works IM 70.3 Steelhead this weekend he is riding his bike from Michigan to Louisville.  I thought that was kind of cool!

Hell just seeing the finish line is enough for me.

can I please put in a request that we DON'T put the forecast up here? I'm already stressed out about school and packing and planning....I'd rather be oblivious to the weather until I'm leaving for the race.

I'm expecting 100.  I'll be ecstatic if its anything less.

X2.  I don't recall even hearing his voice in 2010 either (IMoo).   I still enjoyed the finish!   I think Mike is great and all but it doesn't really matter who is announcing.   The finish itself, the music, the energy, the relief, sense of accomplishment, etc is what its all about. 

hhahaha I just think its bad karma!!  my friends have all been trying to, I'm like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!  Kinda like the Olympics being reported.

I guarantee if none of us look, it will be 75 and fabulous.

Ok than I am not looking

75 degrees and fabulous cloudy, and once everyone is off the Bike it will mist lightly with a soft 4 mph breeze.  Rose petals will miraculously fall just along 4th Street finish line, and the angels will sing triumphantly down from the heavens. Okay, who spiked the kool-aid?  

Was just casually tv surfing and happened upon the long range weather report, and they were describing an odd, freak phenomenon.  They said it looks like an isolated arctic front is pushing through the jet stream and is making its way slowly south.  It's moving independent of all other weather fronts, and is due to land over Louisville late next week causing a temperature drop of up to 25 degrees farenheit!!  Perhaps we should dig out the arm warmers and cycle shoe booties!?!?    What are the chances of something like this happening!?! Unreal!

I looked this morning as well. Could not help it.
