Sensei Sin City | Subject: RE: TAN#155: TANkful Yanti's still aliveHey TAN. My sleeping patterns are all jacked up. Not sure if it's a result of the recent activities. I'll drop a Lortab and get drowsy and nap, but then wake up at 1:30 and be awake. I don't sleep more than a couple hours at a time now. I hope that settles. |

I have bad sleep when I'm taking narcotics. I get "halcyon dreams" of really bizzare story lines. And you're quasi awake during them. You can almost control the story line. Good thing is that you're laid up and can get away with morning and afternoon naps. Sleep when you're tired; don't worry about the clock. |

This is going to be a LONG couple of weeks, with many, many gratuitous days off, long breaks (from TANning, since I plan on doing zero work), leaving early, and showing up late. Ulgh. I didn't like this place when I DID have a job here. Why are they making me do NOTHING for the next 2 weeks. |

I feel for you brother, hopefully it won't be as bad as your dreading. Haha, thanks. I don't think it'll be bad, because I will have absolutely no qualms about doing anything here now. I am openly going to be looking for jobs, being on BT, which I tried to hide before, etc. I just think I would rather do it in the comfort of my own home, sans pants, than be here, putting in my hours just because they expect me to. I fear I'm going to be getting pretty bored. |

I was back at my parents' place for the weekend, helping out with a big Christmas open house that we do every year. Therefore it hasn't really started yet. But I imagine by about 8:30 this morning, I will be into it pretty heavily. I actually did look at jobs on Thursday night, though (probably a sign). There seems to be enough jobs up here that look interesting, just a matter of actually getting them. First up, though, is making the resume purdy. And figuring out what I want to do with the rest of my life. |

I also heard my company that laid me off MAY be getting busy enough to bring me back on? Need to follow up. God to know I'm on the top of the list over there. That was infer of the best places I ever worked.Iowaman - 2011-12-05 7:28 AM How is the job search going? I am learning that slowly, but surely. the next place I go, I will enjoy both (hopefully). I really, really hate writing up a resume. Everyone tells me to put specific numbers on my job, like cost savings that I have influenced, etc. Problem is I have never, ever dealt with the money on any project I have worked on. I have been a very specific designer, and people higher up the chain have dealt with the $. I really wish I knew how to write a kick-azz resume. |

But we tend to conjugate our verbs here I actually already found a pretty decent job that I am exactly qualified for, which I think I would really like, but the posting is in French, so I should PROBABLY apply in French. Damned government jobs. |
