I often wonder what actors think when they get cast in those kinds of roles.  Sort of the "punch line" actors.  The ugly or big or whatever.  There is that tall deformed guy that Rob Zombie uses in a lot of films as the scary guy.  Shoot, even Steve Buchemi get's cast as the unatractive sidekick most of the time.  But, they make a lot more cash than me, so good on them.  I guess it's work!

I was talking about this today when I was watching TV on my lunch. There was a commercial for weight loss and they had to have an actress stand there and they were asking "Are you tired of being fat and less attractive" and I was thinking wow she had to audition for this roll. I guess you just play the cards you are dealt.

Yikes, yeah no kidding. So, in her position would you rather get the roll or be turned down?

yeah right!  "Sorry.  You ARE unattractive, but not unattractive ENOUGH for this role...

Um, thanks?

Ha! Ooooh boy, I can see it now.

Only in your minds eye, cause you would even be at the audition.

Oh I would, would I?? Crap, I hope I get the role. I need rent $$$$

*wouldn't.  Kido, was there anyone hot in the commercial?

Which begs the question, do ugly people know they're ugly? Cord? Do you?

He's not THAT ugly.

Of course, depends upon what "THAT" is.

Aww Cord knows we got nothin' but love for him.

It's just fun to kick him in the ding ding.

Good morning TAN,

I hope that everyones was a better than mine.  Had a long weekend in Denver to say good bye to my grandmother.  She is in hospice.  If anyone has a spare prayer laying around so that she does not suffer nor in any pain woudl be much appreciated.

Oh Matty Matt

Of course my prayers are with her, and her loved ones.

{MELON PRESS}

Here he is.  1975 was a good year.

Lesson learned: never go out with a cup. Never.

Pitching last week I threw a fastball (OK for me it was fast!) into the dirt. Skipped and hit the catcher in the cup.

He sat out the rest of the game. I felt really bad.

Woah, you guys have adult baseball leagues? Or was this a softball-fastball to the nuts?

We have adult leagues. Most bigger cities do, in fact. Even my hometown of Omaha has one now.

No, he took a one-hopper right to the jewels. Ow.

The book was much better ... but that's almost always how it is, and exceptions are exactly that.

No.  1975 was our first year of marriage in Atlanta and my first stint in gradual school.  G1 was born in 1979.

I know that game as the bolo type things you toss at a ladder of pvc pipe.  I made one, actually.  Great BBQ/picnic/drinking game.  Is it the same on Wii?  That would be cool for a hot second.

I learned several years ago while nearly breaking my spin in a beer league, I'm not getting paid, I'm not risking the my body.  Having said that, I think I am going to still wear the cup, even if its just a day at the office.  Tin Cup was a fun movie.
