I'll pass on the donut. It has four legs and a tail.

I'm not sure I can ride on Sunday but I may stop by to provide some support. I can refill bottles and tell everyone to get their a$$ moving.

Not to drag this discussion any further, but I can relate to Aaron's thoughts. I am not looking for any type of response, just simply adding my two cents. I never want to slow anyone down or change their experience. I just want to know that someone will come find me if I get injured or have a mechanical issue. I also don't want to get lost. I do not know all of the little streets and turns on the various rides.

EXACTLY!!!

Rick - Now have we EVER left a member - on purpose???

I think we may need to discuss this at an ESCKTC meeting and decide on rules we need to follow. As Aaron pointed out I did mention this a while back. (Tooting my horn a little ) We have been BLESSED to have a group that rides together and trains together. What needs to happen here is we agree on some ground rules. I really like what this group cycling article has to say on this...

Group Cycling Etiquette

Let me highlight some parts that really apply here:

Group-ride levels and objectives vary. Determining the group's goal and pace will ensure that you join a ride that's right for you. Is the ride social or sadistic? Is it considered a training ride or a training race? How far will the group go? What route will it follow? What are the rendezvous points? Are there any rest stops? Will quicker riders wait for those who've been dropped? Answer these questions before the ride so you don’t jump into a blistering hammerfest when all you wanted was a social "coffee" ride and vice versa. If you're not sure what a ride offers, ask us.

Be prepared for the challenges of the ride. Learn the route ahead of time to ensure you don't get lost. Also, if you know the route, it's easier to shortcut the ride if you get into trouble.

MOST IMPORTANTLY:
Join The Fun!
Group rides can be immensely rewarding. You get a great workout, cover more distance than you would alone and get to hang out with friends. You might even stop for coffee and conversation. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and join the gang!

I think if we all are on the same page we can enjoy eachothers company, and ride many happy, SAFE and enjoyable miles TOGETHER!!!

Sorta off topic (or back to the real topic!) Any plans in the near future for the Mummy Mt. route again?  I suffer too much on hills not to take advantage of that ride again so that I can actually learn the route for the next time Jen drops me!

Of course I am expecting there to be a service robot available to assist with trainer/bike setup and attachment.  (Since that is man work).

Nope I can vouch for that one...

He is out because he does not want Tanya bossing him around!

HAHA got me there. That's ok when I set up your trainer don't be suprised if you have just a "touch" more resistance than everyone else, and your brake rubs
