The downside of being really tall is people automatically assume you either play basketball, like basketball, etc. I knew a guy that was 6'9" that was pushed into sports by his dad and ultimately ended up hating everything sports-related that was organized, and isn't pushing his own children into anything.

OTOH, tall guys generally get hotter girls. Its documented fact.

I hate the fact I'm only 5'5". Being a short male is a miserable existence, you simply get used to the jokes, etc. but you never really learn to feel good about yourself.

True, the first question I get is "do you play basketball?" Then right after that, "how's the weather up there?" hahahahah! I can't TELL you how funny that is...... it never get's old...... *crickets*......

I just spit on them and say "it's raining"......

I was surprised when you said you got too tall to play soccer. Ever see Peter Crouch at Liverpool? I bet you aren't taller than him.

I don't know how tall he is - but I'm taller......

Now, If I was a keeper, I would be the golden child of football.....

You are taller than him by 1 inch. He is 6'7". And he is a foreward. Quite a decent goal scorer too.

That's GOT to be the exception though. I mean, that all of a soccer guy. Yah?

He is in the Tall category, but there are plenty in the over 6' category these days. No longer the short quick guys. Look at guys like Onyeyu on the USMNT or Drogba on Chelsea. Bigger guys. Taller guys. Makes for a very interesting game in the air.

I have a theory. ALMOST a law.......

The bigger you are, the better in most cases IF you meet one criteria. You have to play like you are smaller.

This is what I mean..... If you are a 6'7" soccer player, but can have the skills and quickness of 5'7" you will be better.

OR, Magic Johnson. 6'10" and could play point guard. 6'6" In general, MOST NBA guards are almost big enough to play forward or center on a high school team.

Loy Ball, 6'10" SETTER in volleyball. That job is usually for the short guys....

I can go on and on. If you are a big guy with little guy skills..... game on.... That's my theory....

Am I reading that right.. You are 6'8"??? WTF dude... Stay away from the HGH

BTW.. the 5'1" girl is jealous

I dated a 5'2" girl for a short time (no pun intended). she was a "three step" girl.....(my personal rating system.....)

But if you are 6'8 wouldnt a 5'2 girl be the right height? just sayin

But one requirement is they have to be strong enough to pick me up. I'm not a small girl but I like to feel like one.

Only ONCE did I find a "no step" girl. 6'2" model type. nice to be seen with, but not atheltic or an "out doorsy" type of person. Couldn't deal.......

Interestingly enough, my X dumped me for a guy that's 6'1", 175 during racing reason, because he was 'more manly'. But her 1st husband was 5'3", I'm 5'5"... of course, this guy is by FAR the ugliest of the 3 of us... I don't understand the 'guy has to be taller requirement' at all. It honestly baffles me. One's 'manliness" has nothing to do with your height.

sorry spokes gotta jump in on this "manliness" thing here as you have been down on yourself as to not being a better triathlete then others and wanting to stop racing......I dont think your maniless is justified by this either. Nobody cares if you are better then someone else as long as you are doing the best you can do.

I agree that height isn't a contributing factor to manliness, and I have found myself attracted to shorter guys. But I just can't hang, because I feel big. I feel oafish, and too large. And that doesn't make me want sexy times..

come on..... your skinny and hawt..... That outweighs being canadian BY FAR......
