I have always used socks... I've tried training without them... My feet get mad at me. A good prep that speeds up your time in transition. Put them on before hand, roll them down to your toes. When you are coming into T1 wet, it makes it super easy just to roll them back up and go. If you practice you can get good at it. |

That is a good option... I was thinking a quick stir fry. We will see. |

When cooked properly, I like Brussel Sprouts-but most people ruin them. Edited by mchally 2008-09-18 2:51 PM |

Never tried broccoli like this, good thought. The thing about the baby brussel sprouts is that they are sweeter and less bitter. The panchetta adds just the right amount of salt as well. I never really LIKED brussel sprouts until I had them cooked this way. |

Just like getting the sand and stuff off of them coming into T1 from the swim. |

I do the rolling in T2. I stopped wearing my socks when I biked, but then I put them back on after a few months and noticed a huge difference. I think it's because I have crappy shoes. I didn't really know anything about shoes when I bought my bike. |

I'm thinking about getting some buckets next year and growing my tomatoes in them instead of the dirt... I had some wilting issues this year and didn't get as many as I would've liked. I heart tomatoes! I love to grow them-I just give them away. When I was a kid I grew these monster cherry tomato plants about 5' by 5'. considering that I was about 4'4" they were gigantic. |
