I was given a reprieve last night, I got to stay home. My daughter went with grandma, so my husband took my son to soccer and I stayed home waiting for my daughter. It is only to be in the 30's today. My hour long soccer practice tonight may be cut short, it depends on how the kiddos are doing. If they are too cold we'll just call it a night. This is the last Saturday that I have for the next 8 weeks with nothing planned. I don't plan on doing a whole lot. It's going to be cold. I'm going to stay in, do a little housework, and take it easy. My son had a 2 hour long LAX practice yesturday. he left practice 30 minutes early, crying he was so cold. nobody told us that LAX is a sucky weather sport. BAH! stacieb Considering that LAX is much more popular in the north than the south, I would say it is an all weather sport. I still have my old stick from 1976. Good luck on the test Melindy. You will do GREAT. Then you get to do the movie and dinner thing, right? I'm not sure if I'll make it out to a movie with the BFF...she has work to get done, so we might just do a dinner or something and then I'm going to a post exam pub night thing with my classmates. The days were long and exhausting, but I'm pleased from a work perspective. Physically though, I'm a wreck. Woke up this morning with fever, headache, and a wicked sore throat. Mentally, I just want to go out for a nice, long run. Unfortunately, until this fever breaks probably not a good idea. This is what happens when you spend too much time in airplanes. Guess I'll just amuse myself by doing laundry and popping tylenol and some emergen-c tabs. |

I went to the pet store in the morning and they let me use a $4 off coupon that expired 6 weeks ago. I was $28 under budget when I went grocery shopping, and I even got some things I wouldn't normally get. I got to hang out with a friend last night, we went for dinner, went shopping and I got my daughter a dress, ended up paying 1/2 price for the dress. I think that was a pretty good day. Today I'm stuck in my chair for the next few hours typing up second grade stories so they can be sent to the publishing center. I've had them for a few weeks and I really need to get them done. After I get the stories done I think I may head to the college and work out there, it's only going to be in the 30's today here. Have a slam dunk day everyone! |
