So, I am on the training team and will be involved in 2 of the training classes. I have done one of the classes so much I don't even have to think about it. We are going to meet to refresh the class and pull in some customer service into it. The other class I have never done before. I talked to the person that I am doing it with and found out they have never done it either. So, we are basically going to have to create the class from scratch. In just two weeks. And that is on top of all the other crap we have to keep doing. LOL. That is what I get sor saying a couple of weeks ago that I was bored. |

Plus I spoke with a director at another system who used to work for me. He was very positive about me trying for the position and will be one of my references. Now to just line up a couple of other references without giving away what I am up to. I think one of my fellow rotarians will be a reference for me. Even though she retired several years ago, we work in the same system and she knows me in Rotary. Now to come up with one more. |

Roll into a thin strip, wrap around a green branch. Your hands get a little messy, but it dries. I kept spinning it slowly over the fire, like a rotisserie. Sprayed some butter on and YUM! Clean up difficulty =throw the stick in the fire. TA-DA |

He had to be cleared by his doctor before he could return to football practice. There are 8 doctors in our office, we usually get the 1 we don't care for. She told him yesterday that if you have a concussion, and you get anther concussion right away, you could drop dead right there on the field. File that under Things You Don't Tell A 12 Year Old! |

Today is a loooong day at work, but should be interesting. My last client today is a two hour session on someone who ran a marathon this past Sunday. He figured that he would be too sore to handle the muscle work before today. I don't know if this is he first marathon or not. Anyway should be interesting! Since I won't be finished at work until almost 8, I will pick up pizza on my way home for dinner. |

I took him over to see the Athletic Trainer, he goes over to see her instead of to football practice right now. I told her what the doc said and her jaw about hit the floor. She told Caleb not to worry about it, she wouldn't let him practice until she thought he was ready, she wasn't going to let anything happen to him. I just think that's a very irresponsible thing to say to or in front of a kid. I think we are going to try to avoid seeing that doctor from now on, we have never really cared for her anyway. |

Truth is any head injury period regardless of previous concussion history could cause death. The most acute danger zone is within the 24-48 hrs after head injury and after that risk declines with time. Hard to give an exact timeline.
