Good Morning! 

It is raining like crazy here, but the shepherd is out back running around in it oblivious.  Peanut, on the other hand, is curled up on my lap and we are wrapped in a blanket.

Only two days, that is so exciting

Crud, Ann, you have to get to feeling better! 

I know. This crud, and the flu, are hitting this area pretty good right now. Half Caleb's basketball team was missing from Sunday's game and Monday's practice. Practice last night was cancelled, not sure if it's because so many kids were missing or the coaches were sick.

There is a boat load of folks that are sick. You are NOT supposed to be one of them!

Peanut is smart! My shepherd HATES rain. Actually, she hates her face being wet. If she could just have a hat, she would be fine.

Sounds like Milo. He HATES water, and spray bottles. Wynn, my golden lab LOVES it though.

I hear that. My birthday is already turning into something less than exciting. I need my wallet contents, and I need to be healthy!

Hanna doesn't seem to mind the rain at all.  She LOVES water.  She hasn't had much opportunity to swim, but she just loves to plunge in whether it is paw deep or shoulder deep.  Even when we are running, she will swerve in order to go thru a puddle.  She prances thru it to make it splash. 

How is replacing  the ID and other stuff coming along?

My driver's license was due to be at the end of the month anyway, so my husband gave me his check card so I could fill out the info online to get the card I need to go get a new license. I did that on Saturday morning I think, or Friday, I don't remember.

I had called the main number for my bank and they told me I would have to come into the main office, show ID (which I don't have) and I could cancel my old cards and get new ones. I was at the drive-thru of my local bank on Saturday morning, where everyone knows me, and I asked and they made a few clicks right there and cancelled my old cards and said I'd be getting new ones in the mail, but I don't know how long it will take.

I cancelled my credit card, as long as I have my check card I won't need a credit card.

I hurt my shoulder. Actually it has been bothering me since around Thanksgiving. At first I thought it was just some bursitis, but now it feels like it is more musculature in nature. I was playing basketball with the kids last night and took a shot and I was done, couldn't lift my arm. My doctor moved to a new practice and I need my insurance card, which I don't have, for the initial visit. I asked my husband, since our insurance is through his work, to contact HR and see about getting new cards. I had Caleb's card in my wallet, too.

Such a hassle, and I'm betting money that my wallet eventually shows up.

I'd like to go workout with them!

I would like to be ABLE to work out with them.

There is another organization that has a few pieces of equipment here, but no one to manage it, so every now and then I have to go do something for them. Since it is not our equipment, and they have no provided me a charge number I am only allowed to work on their stuff for 59 minutes at a time, then I have to walk away for a few hours. Recently they've had me install some equipment that they configured and sent.

They can't login to their equipment. I have made several configuration changes for them trying to rectify this. They scheduled a time to call me, so we could troubleshoot the issue. So I was just working with them... if you only have me for 59 minutes at a time, it's probably best to not have me sitting there on hold for 47 minutes. When the guy told me I could go, we'd pick it up later, he told me he'd call back in a few hours. I told him he could call but I wouldn't be here. I told him what my hours were, and he can work around them. I'm doing them a favor, and I have no charge number, he will not be arranging my work schedule. He can work around mine.

WHAT? you mean you don't find doing them a favor an HONOR? Heh!

Just about at the end of my day.

Dad got to Oregon safely. Yeah!

I have a sinus infection.  Hubby picked up my meds for me, so once I get home I will start them.

I will be the beta branch for the test hiring of new positions.  More on that later.

Time to go home.

I did not want to get out of bed this morning, but I did. The good news is tomorrow I get to sleep in and work from home. WOOT!

Oh NO on the infection!! Glad you went to the doc and got meds for it, that could have turned really nasty in a few days! I am curious about the beta testing... details?

Lot of that going around. The bed seemed to have extra gravitational forces today.
