And Ryna, I would have just stopped talking to you if you had posted that. Seriously. About this...basically then the issue isn't him telling his parents. It's him being totally unwise (I might even say stupid) about his freakin money. Like soooo many in the world. In that case it should be hard to tell his parents, but really he shouldn't tell them. HE SHOULDN'T DO IT IF HE CAN'T AFFORD IT. Frick. This stuff makes me mad. It's like blaming food for someone being fat. It's not the food that's the problem, it's YOU and your CHOICES (or some health thing, but not the freaking food). Indeed. He just dropped $500 on a race, and is planning on dropping at LEAST $1500, probably more like $2000, on a new bike... plus presumably travel and lodging for the race... but he's whining about student loans and claiming he doesn't have enough money to HTFU and get his own place? In Lake Zurich, IL (or surrounding area)? Man, if you want to live with your parents, that's your decision, but be straight about it. And don't wring your hands about a non-issue that would be even LESS of an issue if you made different (arguably more responsible) financial decisions. *ahem* Morning, TAN... or should I say, ARRRRRRR!!!
