Need to find time to train. (Or look for a new job....???) It's Saturday. It's beautiful outside. But here I am, "werking" again.... Hi Dee I vote for the 'look for a new job' option - that way you will have time to train hang in there! This coming week is going to be really crazy. EVERYONE knew that. So when do they want to schedule interviews? Yep - this week. I asked them to wait two additional days, so that we can meet our deadlines, and then people would actually have time to concentrate on the interviews.... They just shrugged and ignored me. (Actually, I got a pretty hissy reply, but that's another story.) Plus, they changed the interview committee. The people originally named made sense to me. But now it's all different. The result is that I'll be the only one there who understands the technical side of the job. (Although, I now hear that only two applicants have the required qualifications. Maybe the committee will opt to just flip a coin.) This place USED to make sense to me. Now, it's just gotten.... strange. I think I'm beginning to understand why your coworker quit without any warning. But that sure was a bummer to leave you stranded. Hopefully one of the candidates will work out and you can get your life back again. |

And double time at the gym today. Wow! |

Champion 6107 Out running or enjoying a fine glass of red... | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XV) - come join us :) zipp1 - 2008-04-26 8:45 AM I was thinking long run and core endurance today but my back is tight so it might be a medium run, core endurance and HOT TUB time. Lots of errands to run and the house is FILTHY. Biking tomorrow to take advantage of the sunshine! Kristen, do you want to meet up at West Creek or something? Other option for a closed loop but lots of hills is Petersburg Battlefield which is convenient for me but way out of your end of the world. We could also do the race loop for Shady Grove, it just isn't as nice when its open to traffic. Possibly, Judi...I'm not sure what our schedule is for tomorrow yet - which is why I haven't answered...let me see if I can talk Sugar Daddy into giving me a commitment on our activities tomorrow. |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XV) - come join us :) Hiya Nibbs! Our net connection has been broken all day. For some reason, the wireless router still isn't working. It's weird. We went to a wine festival today. Bought about 6 bottles. Lots of time in the sun. It makes me tired. I need to ride the trainer tonight to try out the new saddle more. |

I got on the treadmill today and hated it. In fact I hated it so much that I walked away after a 1/2 mile run. I have gone from tready w/ ipod to outside with ipod to just let me outside in the past 6 months. Very interesting observation and progression... Well... I don't run. And I don't own a bike. If I were a better swimmer, then maybe I could call myself a swimming snob. LOL |

TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XV) - come join us :) forgive my laziness - but here's the house hunting report - straight from my blog soooo, that was a little discouraging - Amazing how things look so much different in 'real life' than in a photo on the web. I guess the good thing is that I saw a lot of what I don't want and have a better understanding of what the price range is going to need to be {gulp}. At least I feel like I can now better communicate to the Realtor what I am looking for and what i am not looking for - how's that for finding the silver lining? OMG - I was looking for an appropriate pic regarding silver lining and I found this - it totally cracked me up!

Pshaw...six bottles of wine is what we keep in our mini-cooler...and then the couple in the fridge, and then the reds in the pantry... So whose wine did you buy, Jen? (We heart the Virginia wineries - have visited most of them in person (more than once)!) |

We shall see how they are. I know I like them for tennis (well not the running shoes, but the tennis ones.) Frank did get a pair of Minuzos. We also both got a shirt from them. Yahoo. kns57 - 2008-04-25 8:11 PM Tomorrow we are going to one of the local shoe stores. Mizuno shoes will be there with their trailer. Thought we would check it out since we know I need to find a pair of shoes that won't agrivate my PF. Any of you wear Mizunos? I've run Mizunos before and liked them, but I've got flat feet, and their fit wasn't as suited to wide feet as New Balance and Asics... Try the Road Runner site. They've got a shoe selector site that's pretty helpful. Have fun shopping! congrats on the new shoes! |

Pro 4507 Simpsonville, SC | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XV) - come join us :) Hi, Nibbs! Sounds like everyone has had a busy weekend so far. I could go for some wine right now. A nice, smooth red, mmmm.... Class went well. Got out at 4:30! It is so nice to run it myself. Friend/Training Partner/Boss always makes things complicated and slows things down. He had to teach lessons this morning then go to a seminar downtown in the afternoon. So the class was mine all mine today (thus the 4:30 finish)! My legs are so sore! I feel like I did when I first started running back in January! If you want a good workout, go for a trail run! |

It would have been a tight squeeze (NPI)to push past them to get to the stalls since they were "using" the sinks! I got in my car and drove to another parking area closer to the info center and trailheads with restrooms. |
