I am sorry to hear that you had a disappointing race Cat.

I am fairly sure that I would have had similar results in that race.  the wading bit was a bad call.

Make sure to rest up that ankle.

Well I was the only one to have an injury from it but yeah I think it was silly...

If you arent going to have the swim just dont have it... oh well Ive had a bit of fun telling the story today!

mchally - 2009-03-09 1:25 PM I had a bit of a pity party in my log last night...I woke up to find a mini lecture from dave...constructive criticism I guess.

WEll it is good he is looking out for you... but take his intentions rather than his words if you can...

I find people usually mean well... its just their execution that sometimes sucks!

Hello Kitty Cat!

So good to see you in here ... seems like a few of us have had a down weekend ... you are so kind and gracious to still be there for others, like us!

Hiya Yanti! Well the weekend is over now... I just cant wallow for too long...

I *do* need to work out my race schedule for next season now.. my goals/forward momentum and the such like...

I think I may be trying to do too much because I was so tired and wound up last week... CG suggested picking just 1-2 key races for next year so Im trying to do that...

I might just mentally be taking too many challenges on right now!

2) It's Sunday night. Do I need to go to werk tomorrow? Bleh.

That is all.

Well Nibbleteers, it is time for me to call it a night.

I had a happy and productive afternoon/evening, but 4:30 is just around the corner.  I haven't gotten nearly enough done, but at the same time I am in the 'I am sure that it will all get done somehow' state.  It keeps me productive as long as I don't think about how much actually needs to be done.  Just make a list (more like 8 lists) and prioritize.  Then I can start scratching things off.

Hopefully reality doesn't hit me again for a while...

It would be so much easier to get everything done if my family wasn't such a big part of my life.  It is such an emotional drain...

Whoops.... maybe I should to go your log and delete the inspires I just left.... 'Cause I'm better at giving advice than I am at doing it myself. (For example, let's discuss my time management skills - as I sit here on BT, even though I have 4000 things to do....)

If I had been there, there is a very, very good chance that I would have injured myself.  Probably multiple times...and I potentially would have worsened it by being an overly competitive idiot and trying to finish the race
