Elite 3144 | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Good evening Gobblers! I got in another ST session to put me at 6/8 in that category, and the running is going strong. I plan on meeting or exceeding 100% in both categories! |

Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Hi fellow gobblers! Glad to hear there are some fun holiday plans in the works. I've got to get moving on mine! I think I am looking forward to doing nothing much on Fri, Sat & Sun more than I am hosting dinner on Thurs. With the leftovers and the whole big to do productionafter Thursday I declare a moratorium on further cooking onto Sunday at the earliest! |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Ok, try not to fall over from shock, but I actually exercised today! I am now 50% done. No worries--I will pull off the other half. I had a lot of breathing room in the plan this month because of the holiday and hubby's travel schedule. 5 more sessions and I will be at 100%. |

Way to go Amy! You've definitely had a lot going on this month, and I'm glad you've been able to get out there and "move" (as your goal sheet so awesomely says) a bit. Hopefully it's helping burn off some of that stress. KIU! |

With the leftovers and the whole big to do productionafter Thursday I declare a moratorium on further cooking onto Sunday at the earliest! I'm loving that idea! My Thanksgiving dinner will actually be Friday but there should be enough leftovers to get me through the weekend at least. Although I think I will make breakfast for my wife, mom, and sister probably on Saturday just to be nice and since I don't get to see my mom and sister very often. |

Expert 1246 West Grove, PA | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Good morning team! I had a good ride on the bike trainer this morning. I was planning on doing a 45 min bike/30 min run brick, but I hit the snooze button a few too many times. I probably would have hit it a few more times, but my wife hit me - elbow to the ribs! TIME TO GET UP! Ended up doing 46 min at a pretty good pace. For the month, I am now about 115% of goal on the bike and 110% of goal on the run... but only 56% of goal on the swim. I will definitely get to the pool tomorrow (OK, definitely is a bit of a strong word). Regardless, I'm almost 94% of goal overall! GO GOBS! |

I'm not sure that will work out for me, but it is a great idea. We live too far from our parents to go home for Thanksgiving. Instead we got adopted by a friend's parents and are having dinner with her family. I love them, so it will be fun. It'll be nice to have an actual Thanksgiving dinner. It's been quite awhile since that's happened. |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge I woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep, so I rode the trainer this morning. Not my best showing, but something is better than nothing. Here's what I have left of my goals: bike - 3 sessions run - 2 sessions strength - 1 session I'm getting close! Currently at 79.6% of my goals overall. |

Here's what I have left of my goals: bike - 3 sessions run - 2 sessions strength - 1 session I'm getting close! Currently at 79.6% of my goals overall. I am generally the "host" for most Thanksgiving dinners.....having lived far away from family for years I have just gotten in the habit. It is nice to create a family of good friends. Even though I now live closer to my actual family I still seem to be own my own for holiday celebrations.... |

We have a lot of friends who have family in other countries, so I've cooked dinner for them or done a potluck. It can be a lot of fun and you get some interesting dishes. But, several of those friends got married and had babies in the last year so they are starting their own family traditions. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Thanksgiving plans. Hubby and I are working the finish line at the 1/2 marathon in Atlanta. Then we will drive up to Asheville, NC, to visit with my dad. Drive back on Friday (no black Friday shopping for us) and then I get to work on Saturday. Sunday we are thinking of having a mini Thanksgiving dinner with the two of us, our son and his girlfirend. Two out of the four are vegetarian (son and I) so Turkey dinners are not a big deal in our house. |

Champion 10742 Ames, IA | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge Hey gobblers! I finally got into the doc to check on the hip. She believes it to be trochanteric bursitis, which was was the frontrunner for my self diagnosis. I have a series of stretches to work on everyday and she even wants me to try some run/walking before the next appointment. Follow up will include some treadmill running to check out the gait to see if that could be attributing anything. Good news is no limit on the biking, which I was worried about. |

Expert 1246 West Grove, PA | Subject: RE: Gabbing Gobblers - November Challenge I'm starting to have some significant pain in my left hamstring (toward the top). I've noticed it ever since I finished the HIM back in late September. The 2 days following the race, I could barely walk, but I thought "that's just the way it goes" after your first HIM. Well, the pain decreased, but keeps coming back whenever I do any running. It seems less pronounced when I play racquetball vs. when I go for a run or run on the treadmill. And I can't seem to "stretch it out". It's just very, very tight. It's definitely not so painful that I can't run, but I don't want it to get much worse. Just something to keep an eye on, I guess. |
