It truly is terrible.  The worst was being at the movie, and the number of guys that came in to watch it.  Without dates.  There was one group of 3 guys all in their early 20's, and then a group of 4 men in their 50's or so that came in.  NO DATES.  Not gonna lie, it was a little creepy. 

Yadda yadda yadda... I mentioned seeing Twilight.

That exact thing has never failed to surprise me in times of difficulty. You absolutely never know who "shows up," so to speak, and who doesn't, and you never will.

But I'm not quie... oh... so you're saying that I'm NOT trashy?  Nice for me! 

Half way through the movie she started apologizing to me for making me sit through it.

And Yanti, yes. You are correct.

More or less creepy than a mid-20s guy going to see the muppets alone, because his girlfriend is too busy with school to go with him?

Not saying that it HAS happened, but it may.

Ha but I wasn't alone or with other guys.. but still I feel bad for seeing it. It's like that game where you raise your hand if you have done something. Now I would have to raise my hand

So my I-dunno-what-to-call-him who lives with his partner in Sydney is bringing his 15 y/o daughter here on the 18th to meet me and for Christmas holidays.

What on Earth do I get her? I think an iPad is out of the question.

Ha. When I worked at the law firm, the big thing was the women wearing these singlets that looked like lingerie underneath their blazers. Of course if it was warm or they were in their offices and took the blazers off ... I never quite got that.

Of course, I'd wear a men's suit and men's dress shoes to work. They fit better. HR/office manager used to purse her lips and frown at me, but what could she say?

I have never seen any of those movies, and I walked out of one of the Harry Potter movies. I did stay for a whole HP movie, but I needed to, because my ride was enjoying the movie. I just have no interest in any of those movies at all.

Pretty shyte, actually. Fever, weakness, in bed 'til 9pm, no appetite for Pop Tarts, limited reactivity to geckos ... the only reason I know I'm not imminently dying is I'm still being snarky in TAN. Saving grace.

Yeah, I don't think it's one of those things that's gonna heal on a perfectly upward trajectory. Most things don't. Sometimes I feel worstest the days before I feel bestest.

That, I get. I really liked the first two and haven't been able to sit through any of them after that.

But you watched Twilight, man??? Twilight?

Who, me?!?!?!? Not once, not ever will I watch those movies. I think they look awful, and if Cord says that it is worse than it looks, that doesn't bode well for my enjoyment of the movie!

Every time I've said never, it's sealed my fate in that direction.

In the direction of never, or of doing it?

OK, maybe not NEVER... but if I do ever see it, I am going to do everything that I possibly can to watch as little of the movie as humanly possible.

Ok say we will never have a Threesome. And the good kind, not the devil's threesome.
