I've got over 2 inches on my lawn as I speak. News says we could get 6 inches before it's over. Hey-- this is MARCH. I'm racing a week from Saturday. I don't need 6 inches of snow. I moved to Texas, in part, to get away from this Mother Nature's Dandruff.. I've always hated it, and now I've got 6 inches !!!! UGH. People here don't have a clue how to drive in it. SCARRY! End rant! Actually, I like looking at snow in the mountains, and most anywhere other than on the sidewalks or roads. It's UGLY anywhere else!

The were made using boron by Lew Racing for a 150-pound (68-kg) German roadie named Gunter Mal, whose complete bike weighs 3,195 grams. That's 7.1 pounds, or less than half of what would be UCI-legal for racing. And Mal claims he rides it as many as 1,000 km (620 miles) a week. Bike commuting starts next week! Still have about 2-3 inches out there... So well, it's not gone yet. BUT... the good news is I didn't have to shovel my driveway or sidewalks -- snow has melted there......which is a REALLY good thing because I left my snow blower and snow shovels with my mother-in-law in Utah...... Oh well.... But. the forecast for next Saturday -- my first race since November 2006 is for low of 53, high of 70, 10% chance of precip, and partly cloudy skies. Hows that for NEAR perfect conditions. Hope that forecast holds.....
