Umm, okay. What are you up to today Schwammalammagirlie?

i thought it was funny... Eh. i was a ripper at a 5k this morning, and i rode my bike. i should shower and go watch a friend's band, but... his group is playing tomorrow and i just wanna sit at home until i go work in the beer tent tonight. Laaaaaaaaaaaaazy.

It was mild disturbing,  just not what I was expecting.

What's a ripper?  Working a beer tonight - is this a one time thing or ongoing?

Sometimes it's okay to be a bit lazy.

hey folks...

finished a tri today... which is probably the best I can say about it... that and my transitions were good. T2 under a minute. Bike course was great... nothing really flat, but no crazy hills in it. Trying to chill out for a bit... but the wife wants me to do some yard work... woo hoo.

I also need to work on my sermon for tomorrow as it will need some props... all to fit in with our VBS program...

-B

Congrats on the tri.

really... no congrats here... I went.  I sucked.  I went home (after eating a nice post-race meal)...

You've just described every tri that I've had.  It just be's that way for some of us.  I was at a kid's tri this morning.  There are a lot of really competitive parents out there.

C'mon... you KNOW you want to say you were a "stripper," doncha?

-B

i DO, but that would be lying 'cause i was a ripper, not a stripper.

And good job finishing the tri. You've been crazy busy lately.

You know on race numbers, that bottom tear-off section? The 5k was too small for chip timing, so it was old school. i was tearing that bottom section from finishers' numbers.

This weekend is my church's festival. Beer tent. Woo!

Make sure you put up a link so that all of TAN can see. Thanks preacher man.  How long was your VBS program?

Afternoon everybody.  I'm feeling almost back to normal today, which is definitely a good thing.
How'd the National Anthem go this morning Cami?

Akustix- sounds like it should be an interesting sermon.  It's good that you were able to get through the tri.

Schwamm, just remember that you have to leave some beer for the rest of the people.  Hopefully the band is good and there are lots of people buying beer so you can keep busy.

We did 5 evenings... each evening being 2.5 hours... phew...

This year was a first... we went Sun. through Thur.  And that worked GREAT! Everyone who was bolting for vacation on Friday or just leaving for the weekend... was still there.

We probably had 50 different kids there throughout the week.  About 35 or so every night.

It was a blast!

I am at the point where there is no question about getting through a tri... it has just become a matter of how quickly...

oh... and Sprint... glad you're feeling closer to normal... although that word "normal" is inherently troublesome.. especially in TAN...

aukstix - that's some serious VBSing.

Sprint - it went pretty well.  I was nervous, but secretly had a ton of fun (shhh ... don't tell)

TriAya - Monkey! Or other ape-thing.

Sharkie - Hiya!

Schwamm - mmm beer.

Alright kids, I'm off to ride my bike.  I think I might even sign up for a late season tri today.  We'll see.
