BTW, the reason I'm pushing the long run up is because I'm driving to Vermont on Saturday for a "leaf peeping" weekend".  Should be fun.

serendipity - 2009-10-22 5:21 PM Fire-making update:

Hubby is at a conference, so I am on my own for a few days.  (Luckily it's been somewhat warm.)

Tonight the fire was just about out, down to just a couple of coals, and I got it going again first try, and didn't even have to light another match.

We will not be cold when it drops below freezing tonight!  Laughing

They may let me into the mountain girl club yet.

we have our newest pyro!! and sorry, Debs...I did not run...but it was a planned day off! tomorrow I will run and then head to work...I have a SUPER busy weekend of 13-14 hour days...but I cant complain too much...then Im off til April...maybe May! sooooo with that said...I have time to run next week too!!! and only have a few sessions to go!

and after doing my LATEST NEWEST UPDATE...looks like the majority of us are right on or near the percentage we should be...only a few that are either being shy! DONT BE SHY! RUN, LOG and CHAT, CHAT, CHAT!

oh and even though it is a long weekend...I will have lots of down time...we have an Italian Circus in town and they have three performances and just have to set up our tent, sell tickets if not sold out and...take tickets at door...watch what I want and then post on BT when Im not watching....plus there are some down times in between performances...so as much as Im doubting I can keep up...I will do my best to stay as close to the going conversation as possible!

and cookies are ready.....who wants some!!!!!!???????

serendipity - 2009-10-22 5:25 PM Hey Neal!  Did you fall asleep on your new couch?

And did you make sure it looks okay with your bike?  If not, you are going to have to get a new bike that doesn't clash with the sofa.  (See what I did there?  I just rationalized getting a new sofa AND a new bike.)

haha...I think you got him thinking!! or maybe...just maybe hes out running like he promised!!!! or he is dreaming about how he needs to run to get much higher then he is over that line he is soooo close to...called the CUT OFF LINE! dont want to put any pressure on you Neal..or anything!

Ok, let's get real.   Neal is thinking about the next hottie he brings back to his apt and how the new furniture fits into the plan.   If she's a tri-hottie, all the better.

I'm new to the area and don't know what's happening on the Vermont side.  I'd like to find a summer race nearby, so I'll be looking.  I'll keep my eye out for one, and you let me know if you find one.

Hmmm....wonder if Champ gets a race number.

Well, at least the poor girl can sit down!  And if she's a tri-hottie, she'll appreciate how well his bike matches the sofa, when she's not mesmerized by Neal's stories of running in the rain.  Maybe she'll want to get her hands on the new rain gear.  If Neal's smart, he'll be in it!  Wink

kimk - 2009-10-22 5:51 AM Morning Ghoulies! It is raining here and I am being a wimp and not running in it! Think I will jump on the trainer after wiping the dust off my bike! I will get a run in at the Y before I teach today!

ahhhhhhhhhhhh come on Kim where is the kid in you gone???...whats the temps? if it is over the mid 50's I say go run in the rain and be that kid you used to be!!! I didnt realize how much I love to run in the rain til recently...I LOVE IT! as long as there is no thunder or lighting zapping about! try it! you may like it! now if it is below.....do me a favor and go ride that drainer and run at the y before lunch! haha

It was cold and rainy...well low 40's...which in a month will feel warm, but stuck with a 45 min trainer ride and a mile at the Y!
