It sounds very cool. For you I mean. I'll see you in the hot tub at the Intercontental in Nome. Sounds good to me but I would only do the 350. There is a husband/wife and a single guy doing all 1100 - that is insane ![]() Aren't the pictures beautiful though????? They are incredible. I went to Alaska a couple years ago on a cruise (not my choice) and it is a spectacular place. I'd love to go to the interior, although must admit I'm more interested in June/July. Since you're only doing the 350, Ann and I shouldn't be too drunk by the time you finish. |

We know there are bears around but we have ever seen any. We were heading down the mountain and my son says "I just saw a bear." I said "you saw a tree stump honey." My husband backed up and there was a bear on the side of the road. Good job buddy. He sat there for a few seconds then went into the woods. They still tease me about that. |

Champion![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Ok I'm back from my meeting. I think it went ok. He assured me that changes would be made and I will not be getting picked on anymore. We also talked about my job responsibilities, and how I could be doing so much more than what I am. He said there are some new projects coming up and he asked if I was interested. I told him I was. We'll see what happens. Even if I don't work for her anymore, if the opportunity arises to go somewhere else I will probably take it. Onward and Upward |

Elite![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() It is really windy here today and raining. I am supposed to run but the weather discouraged me from getting out soon enough, and now I could only get in a couple of miles. Not really worth it for the hurry of dressing, running, showering, and dashing away to work. Today and tomorrow are really long days at work with no breaks, so I need to make sure I save some energy for work. ![]() On the flip side, this weekend we actually get to stay home. So I can plan a long run and a bike ride! Edited by deehtz 2010-03-11 9:58 AM |

I need to get a 9ish mile run in on Sunday and I really don't want to do it on a treadmill. |

I was mountain biking alone and went off on a single track and was cruising along and hear this loud rustling and crashing. I stop and look off to my left and there is a bear hightailing it out of my sight. Good thing it was more afraid of me that I was of it because I was doing what the bear in the first picture of Kim's was doing!! - lol How far are you from Jim Thorpe? You could come ride the bike route for Black Bear with Kim and I in May. |

If I am ever close enough to a bear to hear the rustling I'll be leaving a deposit in the bike shorts. |

Not looking forward to that at all!!! Ug. I don't mind running or riding in the rain if it's warm. Last summer I LOVED going for runs in the rain, but it would be 85 out. I'm not as thrilled about it when it's 55. Please tell me you have rain gear, Bill. |

With rain starting again on Sunday, but not so windy. |
