Extreme Veteran 322 Reston, VA | Subject: RE: ABS CORE May-June - TEAM GREEN thread Another sub-par week for me. 2/3 for the week, which puts me 3 workouts behind schedule. My only excuse is poor planning, which led to way too many days off last week. I already know my work schedule for the week, so I'm making sure I have time to do at least 4 core workouts to start catching up. Sorry I'm running behind - I WILL catch up soon! |

Pro 6582 Melbourne FL | Subject: RE: ABS CORE May-June - TEAM GREEN thread Hey all, Any way, triornot I added in your yoga last week as Yoga and Pilate's do count toward core if the minutes are sufficient. I will have to check the logs for the default strength mode and also the weekly training log modes for sports. Anyone else have an issue like this??? I need to average 3 workouts the next 4 weeks to stay on track for my goal...I'm going to add Pilate's/yoga in the evening to my routine and get my wife to kick my butt to get them done! Let me know if I've missed anything...

Master 1748 Port Moody, BC | Subject: RE: ABS CORE May-June - TEAM GREEN thread Okay team members, as previously mentioned last month, here is an update to the challenge. In order to boost interest and aid some people out that have been stuck with injuries, poor health or like me, a lack of drive...so here are some new rules. I know, changing the rules so late in the game...but I am both Canadian and the Challenge Chief for this one so too bad!! Special halfway Core challenge update: Up to this point "Teams Overall Goal met %" portion of the challenge calculation was limited to a person getting a '1' for 100% or greater goal acheivement, or a '0' for not getting your goal. We're changing this rule to give be able for you to have more than 100%, up to 120% max. Or if you just missed due to an illness or slight injury, but wanted to keep on playing, you can now get some credit for achieving at least 70% of your goal. So, the changes are listed below, hope this incentive helps! 1) you achieve <70% of your goal, you will get credit for 0% (previously 0% credit) 2) you achieve 70% to <80% of your goal, you will now get credit for 70% (previously 0% credit) 3) you acheive 80% to <90% of your goal, you will now get credit for 80% (previously 0% credit) 4) you achieve 90% to <100% of your goal, you will now get credit for 90% (previously 0% credit) 5) you achieve 100% to <106% of your goal, you will now get credit for 100% (previously 100% credit) 6) you achieve 106% to <116% of your goal, you will now get credit for 110% (previously 100% credit) 7) you achieve 116% or more of your goal, you will now get credit for 120% (previously 100% credit) |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: ABS CORE May-June - TEAM GREEN thread How's it going Green Team! I've got in my two workouts for the week, but I might get in another one today before the end of the week. I don't quite understand the bonus, but I do get that extra workouts count for something. I leave it to Donto to track it all. |

Extreme Veteran 322 Reston, VA | Subject: RE: ABS CORE May-June - TEAM GREEN thread Hey, I guess based on the rule changes above that any week that I did fewer than three workouts didn't count at all toward the challenge? Oh well. Anyway, I got 4/3 in this week, so hopefully that will help offset some of those zeros. |

Oh well. Anyway, I got 4/3 in this week, so hopefully that will help offset some of those zeros. No this is not it at all, the 70% -120% is based on the final tally results not each weekly result. You have 2 scores that count at the end that are averaged together; 1) Your overall perscentage, 91, 69, 100%, whatever you did. The other was always a 1 (100% goal reached) or 0 (<100% reached). So if you did 99% of your goal you got a 99% + 0% = 49.5% towards the team combined average. Messed up I guess, but this is something that came about in the original swim challenge 2 or 3 years ago that stayed in the spreadsheet. Now, if you have 99% you will get 90% for a 94.5% average, so this will hopefully tighten things up for the team results in the end. If you reach 100% of your goal by week 8, then you can max out at 120% in week 9. In the past there was no real reason to go past 100% so you could have 0 in you last week and still be at 100%. I hope this clears things up for you all. |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: ABS CORE May-June - TEAM GREEN thread I can't guarantee that I will get in that many this week, but I'm certainly going to do at least two. If I stop now, I'll lose all the progress I've made and I don't want that. I'm definitely feel stronger than when I started this. I think I have to increase my reps this week. Oooohhh, thanks for the clarification. Anyway, so far this week I've got nil - I've been sick and trying to get healthy by my race on Sunday. I'll try to get a couple in before the end of the week. Keep it up everyone! |

Extreme Veteran 322 Reston, VA | Subject: RE: ABS CORE May-June - TEAM GREEN thread Hey team! I only got 2/3 done last week. If I'm counting correctly, that means I'm 5 core workouts away from meeting my overall goal, despite a few sub-par weeks. This is the last week of the challenge, so it's crunch time (pun intended ). I'm going to see if I can do a week of five and round out my numbers. Keep it up!! |
