I know that I've been terrible about signing up for chat and then not showing up, so I'm proposing a few times for the rest of the week:
Any takers? I have spin class tonight from 6:00pm - 9:00pm PST and swimming tomorrow from 6:00pm - 8:30pm PST, so it looks like I can't do it tonight or tomorrow when you can. I can try for Friday or Saturday, but they are right around dinner time... but I can try. |

Any takers? I could do tonight at 9:30 or 10:00 pm EST or tomorrow night, same time. I will check back later to see if that would work for anyone else. |

Expert 853 Fort Worth, Texas | Subject: RE: Autumn's Group - FULL My husband has been doing wetsuit research as it looks like that will be our Valentine present to each other this year, yes...neoprene for Valentine's day, sooooo romantic!! I just wondered if anyone had any advice. We are looking at getting full body sleeveless Promotion wetsuits as we will most likely be swimming in Texas water which doesn't get too cold. We are doing an oly tri in April and assume that we will want one then. |

I was going to get a full suit, but now I think I'm going to get a sleeveless and some "sleeves" to layer underneath. |

Expert 832 Framingham, MA | Subject: RE: february goals??? autumn - 2007-02-07 2:31 PM what are you planning on your rest days? yoga? easy run/spin? No swimming, cycling or running. Maybe some sports (volleyball, skiing), some yard work (a.k.a. shoveling snow) or some other "activity" (wink, wink) that gets the heart rate up! |

molto veloce mama 9311 | Subject: RE: february goals??? ha ha. JUST on rest days??? i actually made it through a month with no yellow squares - november. i've already had one this month, although i could probably count walking to the bus stop twice a day, and walking 3 blocks to fiona's class. i tend to only log walking if i'm out walking for over 1/2 an hour. good luck! i know you can do it! |

molto veloce mama 9311 | Subject: RE: Autumn's Group - FULL i have raced in two different wetsuits - a promotion sleeveless (which i borrowed from kelpeng), and my own nineteen riptide full sleeve. i got the nineteen at a very good price through rei.com...otherwise i would have gotten a promotion. there are a lot of places that have wetsuit sales right now, so look around after you figure out what you want. |

We are having our bathroom floor re-tiled and we were 4 tiles short for them to complete the job! Let me know when you are chatting again. I am probably around tomorrow night if anyone wants to chat. |

molto veloce mama 9311 | Subject: RE: Autumn's Group - FULL chat - how did the chat go last night? i did peek in around 9pm, but went to bed shortly there after. i have the beginnings of a cold, which is why i've been so tired out the last few days (slept 10+ hrs tuesday night!). will be going to be really early again tonight, despite having 2 naps today, in the hopes that i can nip this cold in the bud. after having 2 weeks of the respiratory flu in jan, i can't deal with being sick AGAIN! just got my volume back up and i have a race in a week! grumble. anyway, i won't be able to chat tonight unless its early....maybe 7pm cst? i'll prolly go to bed at 8pm cst. weight loss - looks like everyone is looking at trying to drop some weight. this is the PERFECT time of year to do it. i would highly recommend chris carmichael's book on sports nutrition. awesome stuff. i'm following his periodization plan, matching intake to where you are in the training cycle. i've really learned a lot from his book. i've only been doing it for a week, and haven't lost or gained anything, but had been feeling better during my workouts. |

molto veloce mama 9311 | Subject: RE: Autumn's Group - FULL morning folks! well, i had a couple of off days. i have very mild exercise induced asthma. i usually don't take anything for it (not smart), but lately i've had two colds...one bad, one light...but enough to make me get pissed about the state of my health and research a bit. i've always attributed getting more colds and sinus infections to being a mom (as one friend said 'no wonder you're always sick, you live in a petri dish!'). after doing some reading, i realized i might also have seasonal indoor allergies. this would explain a LOT. also, i switched asthma meds around the same time i had ella...from singulair to advair. singulair addresses allergies as well as asthma, while advair just targets asthma. anyway, my doc didn't even have me come in...she just prescribed the singulair again. my dad, who is a retired pulmonary doc and also an asthmatic, agreed with my assessment and prescribed attack. i also washed everything in the house that i could, bought a new pillow for myself (dust mites!), and pillow covers for the other pillows (couldn't throw them all away), and vacuumed most of the house with the hepa-vac. i feel like i'm an overnight germaphobe (or dustaphobe), but i have a race in a WEEK! i can't afford to get sick right now. i had a day of rest thinking i was getting sick again...and then a day of action, making calls and cleaning like a mad woman....and today i'm back in the swing of things. we have skating this morning, and then i'm off to the gym for a couple hours. i'm hoping to get in a long run outside tomorrow morning. can't wait! enough about my health problems. do i sound like an old lady? 'an now my bunions are bothering me, grumble grumble.' so, when are we getting together for chat??? |

We have a sitter coming tonight and we are going to hear Nanci Griffith, but it shouldn't be late. I will check back to see if anyone is up for chatting early in the am. That was fun last time! |
