Extreme Veteran 608 Iceland | Subject: RE: March S-B-R BLUE Team An easy relaxing weekend coming up for me as we are flying to Denmark tomorrow until Monday night. I am planning to run in spring like temps and without snow and ice on Saturday and Sunday and I am really looking forward to it (we got more snow last night ) I am not sure I have computer access while away so I probably won't be posting my Sat/Sun mileage until Tuesday morning... Have a great weekend everyone and good luck to everyone who is racing!! GO BLUE!! Edited by Joblin 2007-03-15 12:51 PM |

Extreme Veteran 549 Cotati, CA | Subject: RE: March S-B-R BLUE Team Global...good luck in your half mary.... for me, I feel like I have finally shaken the grunge...the plan for the weekend is:
Fri: 60 min run (lunch); 2700 yard swim (evening) Sat: 120 min bike (afternoon); 2000 yard swim (evening) Sun: 90 min bike; 30 min run ( morning brick); 1400 yard swim (evening) Friday is suppose to be my rest day but I feel like I have rested enough at the beginning of the month. I will go easy on the lunch run and evening swim. More of a coast......Need to swim every day to try and catch up on my monthly goal. This week has been a total wash so far because of non-training life requirement scheduling.
Have a great BLUE weekend everyone! Edited by gaiaserver 2007-03-15 11:52 PM |

Veteran 128 Okinawa, Japan | Subject: RE: March S-B-R BLUE Team Well...this week has been kind of blah so far. I did get my swim up to 56.5% complete though. I'll try to get in a good bike ride and run this weekend...push those over 50% if I can. Good luck everybody. Jerry |

Master 1978 Chelmsford, Massachusetts | Subject: RE: March S-B-R BLUE Team Hey there Blue Team...hope everyone had a great training weekend...it was beautiful here in Florida. Managed to snag a piece of 3rd place in AG hardware at my race on Saturday and rode 83 miles on Sunday. I'll be at goal for the bike after my workout today and on the swim on Thursday. But I'll probably need the rest of the month to complete the run goal as I keep getting yelled at for running too much. Totals for the week: Hope everyone has a great week of training this week!! GO BLUE!!! Edited by Q 2007-03-19 8:25 AM |

Master 2055 Santa Clarita | Subject: RE: March S-B-R BLUE Team Great week everyone , congrats on the fantastic race results global and Q . As a team we are just ahead of the pace . Personally i had to bail on some of my workouts and a 5k race over the weekend as i was sick. Good thing is i am well rested and i got out on my bike for a long ride sunday. Kudos to Nats , Q , Joe Bowler and Joblin who are on target (or ahead) in all 3 sports as of week 3 . (insert Thunderous applause ) . 2 more weeks left in the challenge. If your plans are flexible this week , like mine . I would use week 4 to focus on the neglected sport. The Limiter ... Van_paulus , Artemis , benihana .... week4 : swimming. Please check the weekly report for accuracy . GO BIG BLUE ! Attachments ---------------- March(wk3).xls (82KB - 27 downloads) |

Master 1978 Chelmsford, Massachusetts | Subject: RE: March S-B-R BLUE Team Thanks for the props you guys! Hope everyone's having a great week so far. I'm now at 100% for the bike. I guess I should have pledged more like 400miles but I didn't want to overestimate being that my taper for IMAZ begins at the end of the month. But I guess I underestimated cuz I'm at 302 miles and I still have a century to do this weekend. Im about 350yds from my swim goal as of today, so that should be at 100% by the end of the week, and my run goal will probably take til the end of the month. But I'll get that done. Happy training this week team! GO BIG BLUE! |

Extreme Veteran 549 Cotati, CA | Subject: RE: March S-B-R BLUE Team guess I left myself open for that one...doesn't matter, yellow is going to fade away as Team Blue is getting stronger by the day. Freaking out about taking the day off but my body is telling me I really need a rest day. Guess I should listen.... Catching up quick and should have no problem reaching my monthly goals. Just need to get in about 8,200 yards of swimming before Monday...let's see, that would be about 2,100 yards a day for the next four days....might be a bit dizzy after flip turning so much but doable. I will get back into the game...I will not let the team down! These challenges are great for keeping me on track! Thanks everyone! Go TEAM BLUE |

Here is where I am right now: SWIM: 7.5 / 10 hrs ~ 75% BIKE: 16.83 / 20 hrs ~ 84.2% RUN: 6.88 / 10 hrs ~ 68.8% I've got an hour ride and a 35 min brick run on the plan tonight not including is these totals.
