My sons last day of school was yesterday and I said as soon as he is out I will start....he cant bike to school no safe place for his bike and I cant double him :-) I teach classes at the gym at 7:45 am and then go to my toystore after that so it will be fun. I played on it once I got home...rode it to the folks house and to some friends...will put up a pic soon. I kept pedaling and pedaling and damn....it sure doesnt get the speed of my Cannondale or Kuota! Will take some getting use to that. |

Champion 6046 New York, NY | Subject: RE: COMMUTER CHALLENGE I am buying a fixed gear (with brakes) and plan to commute whilst the boys are in camp (I take them up July 2nd for 6 weeks). so I should be able to get a fair amount of biking in that would usually be car based - work, gym....will put numbers up AFTER I have tried the bike out..... |

| Member 30 Beaches, San Diego | Subject: RE: COMMUTER CHALLENGE Okay, so I just started commuting in mid May so I am in for a 6 month Challenge... June 1 - Dec 31! Lets see... 6 months, 4 weeks in a month = 24... commute 2-3 days a week (we'll stay conservative for now and say 2) = 48, I'll round up to 50! 5 1/2 down, 44 1/2 to go! (The half was a one way commute! I ended up carpooling straight to a Padres game after work!) Enough math, back to work. |
