I'll need to check that out on the Verizon site to be sure, though. So far, I like it. Trying to figure out how to get all of my Google contacts over, but I'm sure it can be done. |

Samsung isn't slamming their competition, they are insulting potential customers that would switch. They aren't trying to get apple customers to them, they are trying to make Samsung owners feel good about having the #2 product that is slower than the iPhone 5. Samsung is very happy to be #2 in the phone market. |

Well, I looked up the Discover Card 5% cashback and they've excluded iPhone 5 purchases. I'm trying to coordinate the new phone with transferring service on to my aunt's family plan so I have to wait until then to do it. Hoping for soon but not sure. Whoa, I didn't see that and read all the rules! They said you could only buy 2 iPhones per month, but no other mentions of the iPhone...maybe I snuck before they changed the rules? I'll at least mention that to them if I don't get my cashback bonus...I am SURE iPhone 5 wasn't on the not included list when I linked through.... Edit: I just sent Discover a nastygram and told them they had better honor what the website said on Friday. I would NOT have chosen to use my Discover card for this purchase if the iPhone 5 had been excluded...I have other cards that I would have preferred to put it on but I couldn't pass up the 5% cashback bonus.... I need to figure out if the October 5% cashback for "all online shopping" will cover it. I might wait until then if so. I hope they come through for you and honor it. They said they would manually adjust the cash back bonus after the purchase goes through. They said that Apple's 5% cashback bonus always excludes new products but they also saw that my purchase went through before they updated the terms...so, that means they are going to honor it...just need to make sure it happens. |
