Ok peeps, I have us updated for the first week on our spreadsheet. If you cycled Sunday but hadn't updated yet post and let me know. As I want to have this sent off at lunch time.

As it stands right now we are at 22.78% as a group with carrie and ninecrushes way ahead.

Also this isn't including Zellie who has yet to update her logs since this started and the newest member who has never posted. Leaving us with no idea what their goal would be.

Now I just need to hope doing a duathlon yesterday instead of my typical 50-70 miler weekend ride doesn't set me too far back for this month.

Should workout though!

Well, I can't check the spreadsheet to make sure everything's up to date, but I did manage 42 miles this past Saturday if you haven't already logged it.

Lookin' pretty good to me, team!  For what it's worth, I don't blame any of you who don't like to go out when it's cold outside.  The weather here is warm year round, and I refuse to go out when it's rainy.  So, I use that as an excuse to ride on my trainer.  So, here's my confession: I love trainer rides.  I live in Hawaii, but I love riding inside.

If I move to Hawaii, can I live in your attic?
The windchill was 11 this morning so I didn't go out.
Thursday and Friday are looking good though with temps in the mid 40s. (Did I just say that was good? Wow. I must move out of the northland! and soon!)

Breezy - 2008-03-09 10:49 AM I can't get out to ride this weekend. The weather just isn't cooperating and I have no indoor means of riding. I shall meet (and exceed) my goal mileage for the month, it will just have to be more miles later in the month.

I'm a baby and won't ride in anything colder than 40 degrees :-) I can't wait for Spring :-)

I'm the same. Here in Florida if its below 60 I won't ride :P Of course that's mainly because I don't have any cool weather cycling gear. So since it's only 50 this morning I'll be making up the ride later in the week. And thanks guys for the good luck for my race yesterday. I finished under my goal time (I've never ran longer than a 5K in a race before) but I prob over did it, so my knee and hip are hating me today

Here I am looking forward to a windy 54 degrees on Thursday to ride outside :-)

Good Job on the race distance/time :-) You filling out a race report !?!?!?!?!

I'll probably put it together tonight. Wanted to do it during lunch, but spent too much time talking and didn't have enough time left.

Finally got out today... love this daylight savings and warmer temps (about 65degrees this afternoon) Rode 56 minutes, so 2:01 done for the month! Go Mutant Peeps!!

Hey, all, life has gotten in the way of triathlons, and I need to dramatically reduce my biking goal for this month - to 8 hours, total.

I threw my hat in the house hunting ring, and that consumed most of my weekend, and will be consuming more.  That, and an unexpected (big) increase in workload while a co-worker is out of town due to a family emergency, has dug a chunk out of my time available for training.

Oh no! We are in last place after week one. It is only week 1 and slow and steady can win the challenge but oh my competitive nature...  Let's get riding :-)

Well while I'd rather see everyone hit all their original goals no matter what.. Life doesn't always go by the book. So I just lowered it to 8 for ya.

Call me crazy but for an entire team to achieve 40% of a month's goal in 1 week means that they aren't "challenging" themselves.

30 minutes done last night

Now that it's lighter out, I'll be able to make it out more often after work.  Week 1 was kind of rough for me since I planned on doing a long ride on Saturday and it POURED for most of the day.

Guess I'll join the club with my Patriots avatar.

And I might need to see about cutting back my hours as well but I'll see how the next few days go first. My knee's not feeling too hot after only walking on the treadmill tonight, so I'm going to take a few days off from running and biking to give it some rest. If I can ride alright next week I should be able to keep my goal since I'll still be cutting back/out running hours.

Go Mutant Peeps!

Sorry to read about your knee - Why dont yuo see how it is at the end of the week and let me know what you want to do?

Take Care - injuries suck but getting them better is always priority number 1!

I'm doing well.  Got another hour in this morning.  I'm scheduled for a 2 hour ride this Sunday but I'm not sure if it will be nice enough outside. I would hate to do 2 hours on the trainer :-( If I must, I must.  I can't wait for Spring!!!!!!!!!!!

Things are going semi-dencently well. I managed 16 miles on the trainer last night. I don't know about this weekend though. I ran way too much this past weekend and am really feeling it. I'll definitely get out on the bike, just not sure how much.

The weather is not on my side but tomorrow morning looks like a possibility. Tonight's low is supposed to be 30 so it should be warm enough for something by 10am, as long as the rain waits till the afternoon.

I am looking at cycling options for the last week of the month when I will be in Vancouver. Not exactly a warm or dry destination but if all else fails the hotel claims to have an exercise bike. I just hope I don't have to use it.

Hey, Mutant Teammates...

I'm at 59.7 out of 160 (which, yes, is a little behind pace...but it's part of the plan - don't worry). I'm running my first 1/2 mary tomorrow, so I've been heavier on the run in the first half of March. After tomorrow (or more likely starting Tuesday), I'll be gearing up the bike since I have a duathlon in early April.

But, I went on a glorious ride yesterday afternoon...it was almost 80 here in VA! I only went 13 miles, because I wanted to save my legs, but I wanted to ride forever!

Have a great weekend!

It's also perfect weather down here in Texas.

Did I say I'm going to be behind this week? I lied. :P I must of forgot we count Sundays.. I'll be around 60% after Sunday depending just exactly how far I go.

Everyone is too quiet here.. If you're riding that's ok, if not.. well pfft!

It is kind of quiet in here :-)  Did a 10 mile run today...plan on 2 hours on the bike tomorrow followed by a very short 15 minute run.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend full of riding
