Ooooh!  I love the challenge table, Slugger!  I love being lazy and then stealing other people's work.  Although I prefer not to call it laziness, but efficiency!  Thank you.

I modified the crappy weather index sheet on the spreadsheet so if you just put your points in column "C" and your total minutes into cell C-29, it will calculate your suckitude score.  (Mathmatical idiots like me love excel spreadsheets!!!)

It is so wrong that I am actually looking forward to crappy weather.

Hee hee, I like calling it efficiency, too. That's what I am at work, "efficient"!!

I love that the spreadsheet is a team effort - that's so cool! Also, very amusing "chatting" with you this morning...

Thanks for the great table. I love the avatar photo, what is it from?

You are quite welcome! I think it is from Giro d'Italia, but I forget now. There's a little quote at the bottom (gives the source, which is why I didn't delete it) that says something like, "See, I TOLD you the weather was crappy!" I thought it was appropriate!

BigDH - 2008-11-05 4:45 PM Alright go my first crapo-meter score. Could I sugges that we post our score on the suckometer in our training log for each day that we get such a score?
But don't forget to log your Crappy score on the spreadsheet as well...my score is getting kinda lonely there all by itself!

Oh yeah, I know, I figured post totals by the end of each week. I just think it would be helpful in our log to post the math so people know where the totals are coming from as there is nothing in the spreadsheet for individual days.

I like this idea, so we can check out what everyone is going through. Plus, we'll have a record for ourselves - "Oh, yeah, that was that day it was like 50 below!!"

Alright I have the spreadsheet and everyone on my goals - How do I get the cool table format?
I am not smart when it comes to this - I have been trying for 30 minutes now! Please help!

Bill - Highlight and copy all the code below. Then paste it in your log. (If it doesn't work, let me know. It just means I have to reformat the code for you.)

And Dee comes through like a superstar once again!! Why aren't you on our challenge, Dee? I miss chattin' with ya!

Hey cool table but not looking forward to actually seeing that. They say snow will hit us on Sunday Frown

Yeah, I'm with you on that. I seriously considered making it a tropical beach scene, but I thought that would be too cruel! I want nice pretty snow, not yucky rainy snow that we're supposed to get this weekend.

Looks like the cold weather is coming in. This morning when I took the dog out it was 45, it has already dropped down to 40. Maybe by the time I go out roller skiing at lunch it will be at 35 and snow flurries.

I will have points this weekend for sure. It is supposed to be in the 20's overnight.

Went for a bike ride this morning, ONLY because it was 1 degree C and I would get some points out of it. Thanks Crappy Weather Winter Challenge!

Looks like we're off to a slow start. At least a few people have some postings! Don't forget that the formulae are right there in the spreadsheet, on the second sheet (go down to the bottom of the screen and click where it says, "Crappy Weather Index").

Here's to those who got an extra week or so of nice running weather, here's to those who got some numbers up. See, we're all winners, right?! [/touchy-feely-ness!]

I am getting ready to get some points tonight - Bike ride after I pick my DD up from Guitar - cold, wind and possible snowing (we got a couple inches last night - yes!)

I do sort of like the 70's though

Good luck this week everyone!

AAARGH...you are going to catch up!!!!

How stupid is this: I used the fact that it was 40 degrees to cop out on my run. "Well, I won't get any points for it..." LOL! Really, I would have used any excuse I could find. Oh well, gettin' my mojo back tomorrow!

Yay!  I got some points last night!!  Not a lot, but it's a start.  Now it's supposed to be in the fifties the rest of the week.  Oh well.

The points sure add up fast when it is below 20F, although I am not sure I like all this cold weather so early. What is it going to be like come January? I did have a good run this morning, I wish I would have had my GPS with me, I think I was running around 8 min mile pace.
