Really? Point to the traffic law that states the speed limit is different in different lanes. Go ahead.

And I know why the "yahoo" is sitting there, because he feels his personal agenda is more important than rational, safe and legal driving.

Go pick up a book from the MVD and look where the faster traffic/cars that are passing should be.  I'm not going to argue this point.  Go take a look yourself.  I don't care if you drove an ambulance or invented the highway.  Faster traffic is supposed to move to the left.

If you (or anyone else) feels the need to drive 55 (or slower than the rate of traffic) in the left lanes, then the need to control people, or shove a personal agenda of proving that the "speed limit" is 55 no matter what, showes issues of passive aggressiveness or the need to control other people that just can't be helped here.

ANYWAY.... My NEW rant is with having to work an extra 2 hours per day w/out extra pay!!

Assuming everyone isn't doing 75 in a 55 as well. If I'm already speeding (My normal rate of speed is 5-8 over), it's not incumbent on me to make it easier for the idiots doing 10-20 over.

Why 2 extra hours without pay? That IS worthy of a rant!

I don't know about a law....but I think they recommend that slower people get out of the left lane, hence:

Yeah, but that's for people that aren't doing the speed limit. The limit is a MAXIMUM, not a RECOMMENDATION. LaughingLaughing

Idiots that think because they are on two wheels that they own the whole darn bike path. This moron didn't even have a helmet on.

Tonight I was finishing my laps around Tempe town lake. I was on the Scottsdale greenbelt doing about 18.5mph when a complete dullard takes a wide sweeping turn across the whole path. He never even looked behind him. I hit my brakes, slid sideways and went into the grass all at the same time.

How I kept from hitting him and staying up is a mystery to me. Next thing I know I am back on the path going the right direction and swearing up a storm.

Things that tick me off:

Fitzy says he's so full of hate, but has missed days and days in a row now.

Just to prove I'm a real hater, here is one off my list:

The awkwardness surrounding the process of throwing away a cheap mini-flag

I said I wasn't full of hate.... but I'll add another: that damn little itch that you have to scratch on your head while you're biking. You have stop, take off your helmet, scratchm put helmet back on,....don't get me started about other 'adjustments' you need to occassionally need to make on the bike

Joining a recreation center for the purpose of having someplace to clean up after lunchtime runs and bike rides, only to be told a couple of months later that in order to use the facilities, one has to work out 'inside the building' for at least 30 minutes - running in the park where the building is located doesn't count.  Never had to wait to use the shower, or even seen anyone else using it - not sure why this 'policy' is necessary.  Aaarrrghhh.

What's pi$$ing me off today is waiting for the official results from my race on Saturday...

I know it's really no big deal, I finished and know about where I was, but c'mon already.

BTW - - some 9-year old girl did the 4000M swim too. I just hope I beat her. I didn't see her on-shore after I finished, but she was there shortly thereafter. She was also still full of energy and looked like she could've kept going - - punk.

I'm with Fitz on this. I'd make them show me that in writing.  How stupid is that?!?!  You're paying dues to use their facility...whether that means their drinking fountains, showers, weights, or whatever!

I'd just keep doing it. If they're going to make a stupid rule, they'd better be prepared to enforce it. If they TRIED to enforce it, I'd make them show me where I signed agreeing to that, and if not, they'd better be prepared to refund me.

Sorry you haven't gotten your results yet Fitz!  They should be in by now.
