I saw it on the Garmin site and felt I had to represent for the challenge!  When I saw the one piece during the TT, I actually thought it would be a good tri suit.  But I'm not the TT champ so IDT it w/b appropriate....

I s/b able to get a ride in this afternoon after work.  It looks like I may be doing some looong rides the last weekend to match my goal.  Sessions wont be the problem, the mileage may be.  The MTB rides cut my mileage in 1/2, if not more (still worth it though)  I did say this would be a challenge for me, but still attainable.  I leave for a business trip on Friday for the weekend so I wont be able to get in any rides.  Luckily, my hotel has a 25 meter pool and does tri training there too so at least I'll get something in.

Keep it up Argyle!  We're almost at the 1/2 way point and we're looking good.

4th session in yesterday but could only ride for 35 minutes because of the rain. Tomorrow is going to be nice and sunny so I'm going for a 2+ hour ride. My goal is 15 hours so I have to get those hours up a bit....

GO GARMIN!!!

I rode 15 mile yesterday.  I thought if I took a different route and added a steeper hill I would also add a mile or two.  WRONG.  same distance, bigger hill but busier road to cross though.

Lets GO TEAM GARMIN!  I took a look at the other speadsheets and we're second (as of 10am EDT).  We have 48% and Agritubel (the thread hijackers) have 52%.  third I think has 46%.  We're looking good and can take this!

I did a session on the trainer today, hoping to help spin away my soreness. I'm not sure if that was accomplished, but it does count as a stage and 11 miles towards my goal. I'll be doing a bike commute either tomorrow or Friday.

Got in a long ride today.. 76.1 miles, longest stage yet! The real tour is in the flats but I couldn't resist going into the mountains for part of this ride.. I'm a huge dork but I like to pretend I'm on a solo break when climbing and I have to keep the chasers from catching me! How does everyone else try to make long solo rides a little less boring?

Wow- nice long ride.  I also mentally sing my favorite climbing songs when going solo. I am probably older than you but Freebird keeps me humming along esp since it picks up at the end.  Saw that the end of today's stage had a 1 km section of almost 20% grade.....guess that is sorta flat..

Just did my bike to work. Of course, this means also biking home this afternoon. I always count these as two separate rides/stages.

I've gotten in some extra rides so I'm about two stages and 20+ miles ahead of goal so far. I may end up upping my goals.

I did 21 miles last night... I'll add it to the sheet now!

Also, I'll admit this here at the risk of being a total fred...

I rode my stage yesterday in a Garmin-Slipstream jersey (and gloves)...

Wow zero posts over the weekend.. we must have been one busy team! I had an awesome race on Saturday (won my AG!!) then a recovery ride sunday. I'll definitely get to my goal in stages, but now that I have to work on my usual day off, one of my planned long rides is going to get cut, so reaching my mileage goal will be tough. I'll try to pull it off though, and still am planning a century ride over the weekend!

nice work!

so I've devised a plan that will get me to my goals for this challenge by sunday! Its a 21 mile trip into work, I'm going to ride in tomorrow, ride in and out friday, then split the remaining miles over sat/sun (still planning the century for sunday). Working today was a big set back, but I think I can do it!
