If he is wearing a headlight I certainly hope he doesn't have his head up there... can we say ouch!

As for me I joined the December du challenge too. bike/run are my goals. yoga/flow stretching will be my ghoulies challenge. 10 days.

originally i went to see them for a MORTONS NEUROMA that it turns out i didnt have (long convaluted story, wont bore you w the details)

w/in 2 weeks of trmnt (adjustments, cold laser, orthotics) my symptoms in my foot went away

now i go in for 'routine maintenance'/structural management.

adjustments.

rehab/exercises.

cold laser (if/when necessary)

1x a week.

keeps me trng well/healthy.

Ha!  I was disappointed that I couldn't fix it with duct tape.

Morning!  About to head out for a run on a very frosty morning.  If it wasn't for the challenges, it sure would be easy to think... "I'll do it tomorrow!"

BUT gonna go get my layers on now and head out.

i was right there w ya DEE runnin' in layers in the butt ugly cold.  i kept thinking, its only gonna get 'worse'

yay.  i can be cheery that way.  LOL.

mine was just grand.

so much fun having a buddy today.

i usually dont mind running alone, actually, i prefer it, but i think w my 'tude' about running lately, it was nice to have some company.

either way, its nice to have that done and outta the way.

tomorrow ill spin, do a short run and get my ST in, then ill start my 4th week of the month taper....

i think perhaps thats way i was grumpy this past week.

i held off my 4th week taper until next week (which is actually the 5th week) so that it would coincide w the not so very important 5K im running next Saturday.

took too long to taper.  im blaming it on that.

always the taper.

its interesting.

all my paces in swimming and running have been on the low side.

ive been scratching my head and thinkin', WTFLIP???

then it dawned on me, of course during my run.....

i think my body is so used to that 3 weeks on, 1 week tapered schedule, that it KNEW it was time to turn it down a notch, cept.....i kept going.  ill try not to fiddle around w my schedule as much next time.
