Stock R - 2011-02-21 1:07 PMWhere are these wheels going to be shipped out of?
Wheels will be shipped from Las Vegas, Nevada.

I live in Vegas.  I am planning on hopefully getting a set for IMAZ this year.  If I order them, will I be able to skip shipping and just pick them up?

Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem at all.

I'm in.  I'm all for supporting our own innovative American boys.  Nice job.  From an aero point of view I'm excited to see these go into production.

chris, you giving away any drag numbers yet?

Well I was born and raised in Canada but living in American now.  Haha.  Drag numbers have not yet been collected.  We will be in the wind tunnel in approximately 6 weeks and will be releasing drag numbers when our site goes live!

Chris, just saw the latest pics, are your brake tracks going to be black in color, or silver??  the proto's looked black. If they are black, how are the brake tracks going to maintain the black color??

thanks

Rudy,

Good eye!  Our 60mm 90mm and Disc wheels will have silver brake tracks.  These wheels are still prototypes.  If you look closely you may also notice that these rims are pinned instead of welded.  Our final production wheels will offer welded rims.  These rims are so new we haven't had time to produce the weld mold.  We are getting close!

For anyone who hasn't seen our latest pics you can find them here... http://bit.ly/hSgNbS

Haha.  I know the spacer stack is bad.  I haven't had time to get a proper fitting and you know what they say about measure twice cut once!

Any updates? How is the timing looking? I believe you are anticipating taking pre-orders in the 2nd quarter... is that still the case? When would they ship? Thanks!

We are currently heavy into our prototype stage.  We should have some completed wheels up on our blog very soon.  We still have some details to finalize with our factories and will more than likely be making a trip overseas before we start full scale production.

Pre-orders are still looking good for the second quarter and should ship at an estimated 60-90 days after the pre-order closes.

Thanks for checking in.  Keep an eye on our blog (flocycling.blogspot.com) and you should see new pictures and video very soon!

All the best,

Chris, the wheels look great!!!

Once you get the preorders and such outa the way, you might want to think about providing an all black version (spokes and brake track) even if it involves a little upcharge. I personally think even with moderate use the anodizing will last for a good bit, hell on a TT disc or rear wheel, probably a very long time, just looks soooo much cleaner. Nice job, i have been telling friends about these who are looking for wheels!!

If the data from the wind tunnel looks good then I'm definitely getting a set.
