If you're popping, then you're pooping and if you're pooping then you're stopping, cuz you can't run when you're pooping unless you're biking when you're pooping. But if you're pooping while you're biking and you're liking that you're pooping, well... then you should think of stopping, cuz no one will be liking to be looking while you're running after pooping while you're biking.

BUT you're a newbie if your posting turns to doodie talk and double talk, or when to walk and when to talk (and the state of being newbie and getting-hugs-from-giant-boobies!). You could KQ, you could BQ, but if you CAN DO... then it's not just blogging doodoo,  maybe others read your how-tos and they figure out some voodoo and it helps them on THEIR juju.

Then you STILL might be a newbie, but your postings are not doodie cuz they're helping other newbies and that's really what what's the duty...when a set of lads and lasses get off their plumping a$$es and learn to race their fastest and that pushes YOU to try to tri to be the fastest of the masses BUT you got them off their a$$es with your helpful master classes...

And you do it cuz it's classy and you do it cuz it's fun, then the newbie state will pass, then your newbie-ness is done, and we can melon press together, all the piglets hug as one.

WINNER!!!

Reading A Few Degrees From Hell about the Badwater Ultramarathon and one of the guys says that when he ran 107 miles straight he didn't feel like an athlete, but after he did Badwater and finished sixth he did.  High standards!

GatorDeb - 2012-04-10 2:35 PM Ha, and here I thought a melon press was a pat to the head.

And piglets go wee wee wee all the way home.

I figured out what melon presses were immediately and who bestows them. But after all my reading here, I still don't know exactly what constitutes a piglet.

A piglet, whilst most commonly of the delectable-gentleman variety, is really any yummy cute warm living thing. So it's not really a gender, age, or even species-specific term. Some prefer "piglette" for human females (and some human females do NOT prefer this at all). But I assure you a piglet is a WONDERFUL thing!!!

YAY! That was, like, the last thing I needed to know before my mind was at peace with the world. Happy sigh.

No doubt......some seriously badazz athletes in that bunch.

I love to watch it.....it beats other triathlon all to hell.

The last JUNIOR race I was at (16-19 years old)......750M swim, 20K bike, 5K run......the top 35 finishers were under an hour....good luck with that crew, nevermind the U23 racers, or the Pan Am cup racers.  If you can't break 1:55:00 in an Oly you can't play with them.  If you want to see TRULY fast triathletes, go catch one of these races.

Never... I learn something new every single race and every single training session.

I started duathlon training in 2002 and I still consider myself a newbie... And that is coming from a bike racing background and a running background.
