Just hit 50% of overall goal with today's swim!  (Okay it's only 49.9%)

Let's keep it up!  I was looking at the Canuck thread and they have at least one person at 100%

Whoppie!   Way to go -- and you're 3 days ahead of 50% of the month done.  You're a great example for our team!!

How many teammates are ABOVER 50% complete?

Go CURMUDGEONS!

I had another swim this morning, putting me at 21.6K out of 32K. I've already surpassed my previous max monthly swim distance (20k), but boy can I feel it! Three more solid swims and I should be all set.

Nice work everyone - keep it up!!

Hey, just take a look at the spreadsheet I have posted to see who is above 50%. I updated it to swims completed as of Wednesday 12-13. I am at 48%. We have some people doing a really good job. tpeterson02 with his goal is doing excellent, running_in_nc is also doing great and is way ahead of schedule, and obviously ellasdad is finished so that is encouraging. However, the folks who are under 40% on this spreadsheet might want to start finding a pool before it becomes more like work than fun!!! I remember last year for the canucks So_Fresh_So_Clean finished up his goal with a set of 100x100 and they were fast too. Of course he was in shape to do it and his goal for December was like 200k or something. I do not think many of us could pull off something like that so we need to stay on track!!! Encourage the ones that are a little behind and there is still days left in this week to get on track. Great job Curmudgeons!!!

I put in some yards this am so I'm a little over 50%, right on track. I took UT's advise and did an extra couple hundred yards just in case.

Will be disappearing off the radar screen whilst I'm on holiday but rest assured I'll be fitting in my swimming around sunbathing on the beach or chasing lions in the game parks of Africa.

GO TEAM - YOU CAN DO IT  Smile

We're Cruisin, Team!   All of us are well withi goal distance, but we can't get complacent.  Follow our fearless leader, and swim!  Next week, for most of us will be chaos, so do what you can!

Keep up the good work!

Sorry guys, I had to scrop swimming today because it was almost 60 degrees here today!  It won't be that warm again until April, so I had to go for a ride.   I'll be swimming tommorow for sure as a storm is moving in - no excuses!

Okay I made up the swim for yesterday.  1250m today plus 1450 from Wed. puts me at 2700m=2952y for the week.   I will not swim tommorow so this is going to be my total for the week.  Monthly I am at 60% overall.

Here are the results from this week. We now have two teammates that are 100% and 8 out of 13 that are on pace!!! Hannah is on Holiday and according to his blog may not be near a computer for the rest of the year so I might not get anymore updates for him until the end of the year. It is time to step it up b/c this is crunch time but there is still time. Of the 5 not on pace, 3 of the 5 are not in bad shape but two of the five will need some big swims this week so they can make the push next week to finish up!!! Go Curmudgeons!!

glad to see our results so far... ummm time to pick it up a little bit.  I'm planning on getting the same kind of workouts this week as I did last week and possibly finish a little early.  We shall see.

Keep up the good work guys!

C'mon everyone!  Let's all get to 80% by this sunday.  You know it is going to be tough to make up time between Christmas and NEw years, so step up this week and put down some big numbers!

Congrats to those that are done or will be this week.  Nice job!

Good idea. I should be able to get there by the end of the week. I had better be above that actually b/c I leave Friday and will not have pool access again until Tuesday!! Swim on Curmudgeons!!! Also, keep an eye on the Captain's Only Thread. They are discussing some things. Do not issue a reply there b/c then there will be to many voices in the mix. If you feel strongly one way or another then PM me and I will make a point to mention it for our team!!! As Emeril would say, "Let's Kick It Up A Notch!!!"

As an early christmas present for the team,  swam an extra 1000m today than planned.   By far my longest single workout swim number at 2050m = 2225 yards

P.S.  I just wanted to brag that I swam 1000m nonstop for the first time EVER!
